    Absolutely phenomenal review and walkthrough.
    You seldom see people really explore all this pedal has to offer beyond the traditional darkglass tone.
    It's in a heavy consideration phase for me, I seemed to remember it was more expensive than it is - and purely for being a midi controllable overdrive/distortion with all the metal tones I could ever hope to get and what I believe are some hidden funk gems with the compressor... Its tempting.

      Oh YES, this is such a powerful pedal with all its hidden gems, including that awesome EQ too! And another big one for us is the connectivity, with both 1/4'' and XLR readily available. It's really a versatile professional product. Definitely worth trying to hear and feel for yourself!

      Thank you so much! ฅʕ≧ᴥ≦ʔʕ≧ᴥ≦ʔฅ Yes, it is incredible both as a pedal in front of a tube amp and as a standalone. And it can work great for guitar too!

    Best review of all the DG Infinity videos I've watched. I own one as well and I can tell you've taken the time to explore it and read the manual. You actually know what you're talking about unlike a lot of the others haha. Thanks!

    very nice!i sell my X Ultra for the Infinity and since i use the EHB1506MS i know what tone can i get!What about the tuner?it's useful?

    • @PairofPandas
      @PairofPandas  10 месяцев назад +1

      Thank you so much! ʕʕʕʕʕ•ᴥ•ʔ•ᴥ•ʔ Definitely, you can tune with it well. The Microtubes Infinity is basically a standalone solution: you can ditch everything else (including separate tuner pedals) and just play through it alone if you want.

    I am looking for one-for-all type a multi-effector that has an XLR out. Usually play in a church setting where I don't require much overdrive tones. I was considering this pedal at around $500-600. But can get ADAM or Photon around $300-400. Do you think this pedal is worth extra $$? Feel like these pedals might be an overkill for my needs. any insight or suggestions would be appreciated! Thank you!

      They actually cost almost the same in stores. As for the secondhand market, well, you can find bargains, scalpers, and literally everything in between too, haha! Hard to say there. As for tones, all of them are really cool but different. The Microtubes are just the classic Darkglass tones from their namesake analog pedals, that's why we chose it personally. That doesn't mean ADAM or Photon can't do lower gain well, they'll just be different. Oh, and Adam has chorus too, if we remember correctly. So there's that. If you liked the tones here and you really want these tones, yeah, it's simplest to go for the Microtubes. BTW, just checked Sweetwater (USA): Foton and Microtubes cost exactly the same there, 599. So it all depends.
      Short answer: it depends on the price. In stores here, there's no difference. If buying used, than there are MANY variables to consider. If not, just get the Microtubes because you heard it and it's awesome!

      @@ArteusK Yup, check the website, there's even a pic of the Adam chorus there too and this excerpt:
      "A.D.A.M 1.6 Firmware
      A new firmware update for the Aggressively Distorting Advanced Machine unlocks innovative features and enhanced performance:
      · Chorus Machine, placed before the EQ at the end of the signal chain.
      · New tone-shaping EQ, placed just before distortion.
      · Noise Suppressor is now per-preset."
