It’s so fucking hard to find any videos on Darkglass gear that aren’t basically sponsored commercials. Thank you for actually making a solid in-depth usage video that shows every detail of this pedal. Definitely helped my decision on buying it.
So glad that I could be of service! Thank You!! 🙏
Yess 👍🏻
Best video overview on this pedal I've come across. Thank you!
🙏🙏🙏🙏
Looking forward to the comparison of the 3! Great video!
Just finished the tracking for it - gonna start reamping and tone tweaking today :) The video will be out next week!!
Love the vintage setting 🤘🏽
Same here!!
Fantastic explanation. Got mine last week. Loved the tones but was totally confused. This video explains it all.
Glad to be of service!! 🙏
Thanks Erik for doing this properly
Thank You for watching!! 🙏🙏🙏
Awesome review, Erik. 😎🤘🏻🎸 this preamp sounds phenomenal. Especially with your Yamaha bass. Such an incredible tone with the preamp. Both clean and distorted. I would definitely consider get this preamp pedal if I needed a new preamp.
🤘🤘🤘🤘
Erik! Thanks for all you do!!!
Thank you for watching!! 🙏
great video this pedal makes so much more sense now
Thank you!! 🙏
Your demo was great! Exactly what a lot of us want to do before buying…Great work…Thx
Thank you! 🙏
Brilliant video. Just what I needed. New sub here 👍
Thank you!! Glad to be of service!!! 🙏🙏🙏
love this infinity, got
mine about a week ago
Nice!!!
Thank you so much for this video!
Glad to be of service!!
@erikarko I was so confused about how to work the pedal, and your demo was very helpful. I impulse bought it for a new band I joined and I have never been much of a pedal guy. Thank you again!
@@troydaboy18 Glad that it was helpful!!
That comparison should be a really interesting video.
Also, could be fun to compare the analog B3K, the Infinity and the B3K on the QC.
Stay tuned!!
@@erikarko Always :)

I've been looking for a bass distortion pedal that the closest to Nueral DSP's "Parallax. I think this is the answer!
This or the X series! 🤘💪🏼
Looking forward to the comparison video. I currently have the photon but would have bought this had it been out at the time. I tend to prefer the microtubes x tone. I'm not sure if it'd be worth the hassle to sell the photon to get this.
I’ll work as hard as I can to have it out by Monday next week!! 💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼
That’s A Very Cool Electronic! See Ya At School!
👍👍👍
I bought one it’s coming in tomorrow, I’m so confused 😩 this is going to be quite the learning curve
Just take it slowly and go step-by-step! Wipe a preset clean, start with the compression, then go for the distortion, then the cabsim and then the EQ! And do it through a loud speaker/amp so that you don’t get fooled by your headphones!! :)
Nice Demo Erik! i guess i have to sell my Helit Lt 😅
This’ll be smaller to bring to the gig, at least 😂😅
Great overview! Thank you! Does this allow different presets to be saved one with active mode on and one with it off? Like if you wanted to have a setting for an active bass and a passive bass with output levels matched so you can swap instruments between songs?
Hmm I do think so! Not 100 percent sure, though!
Yes it can, i checked it out
Do you notice any difference in feel between the analog and digital versions? Sometimes digital isn't great with lower gain settings.
Nope, can’t really say that I do :)
@@erikarko Thanks! One of the other channels was saying that they thought the digital version lacked some punch.
@@bzadlo I’ll see if I can make an A/B video in the future - an old student of mine just borrowed my Infinity, so it’ll have to wait a few days 😅
I just started playing with mine - and all of the presets are 'clean' sounding with different levels. I dial up the 'drive' all the way and I still get no distortion at all.. Im wondering if something is wrong with this thing?
That’s weird! Does it have the latest firmware?
@@erikarko it does, just checked. I would assume at least one preset is high gain distortion. It may be faulty.
How are you monitoring it?
@@erikarko I haven't gone into the studio yet, so just 1/4 to both my gk 212 and a mini markbass combo using a dingwall z3
@@i2ambler2002 Weird! Have you tried headphones?
Can you turn the pedal off or is it always on? Or can you bypass it it needs be. I play in a couple if bands and this pedal is not appropriate for one of the bands 😂
Yup! Just press A + B together and it's off! :) A + C starts "Gig mode" and B + C engages the tuner :)
@@erikarko what is gig mode? Also on the app it has presets a b c d e f. How do I toggle between a-c and d-f? I heard I would need a midi pedal and if that’s the case which midi pedal would you recommend?
@@rockbasskicker Gig mode locks the touch sliders and the controls, so that bumping them doesn’t do anything :)
You can toggle the additional presets either via the Bluetooth app or via a midi footswitch. The midi CC’s are listed in the app :)

The lack of FX loop it's a big turn off for me.
Totally get what you mean! For me, it’s no dealbreaker whatsoever - but I can really see why some would want one! :)
Great video! Just got mine. Is there a way to access the D E and F presets on the unit for playing live or are they only accessible from the suite. Also do you suggest bypassing the cab sims when using it through your amp live?
Using an external MIDI footswitch will give you access to them :)
It depends! If it sounds good, it IS good! Experiment and see what sounds best :)
