Moved into a place that have the same floor as you. I still had some Bona for laminate floors cleaning solution I had accidentally bought when we were in our previous place which had real hardwood flooring. I’m so not used to the flooring here and still trying to figure out if the previous tenants used something they shouldn’t have. They had this grey colour almost. Any idea what brand of flooring you have so I can check their cleaning recommendations? I did that with the hardwood floor we had and they had recommended Bona which worked really well.
Essential "oil" is not the same as carrier oils. It's not heavy and will not leave a build up. Especially at a concentration of about 30 drops to a bucket of water
I used a leather conditioner on my laminate floors and they shine like new again. Put on small area to test last night and this morning - huge difference. going to do the rest today. also, not slick - just shine
@@maidbynature399 over a week later, and the floor is shining like never before. this is not like the shiny leather cleaner you use on car seats but is a leather conditioner - works really well. give it a try and you'll see a hug difference in shine as well as how it brings out the original color of your laminate flooring.✔✔
Yeah I’ve been using bleach on my life proof laminate flooring from Home Depot . Been needing to clean kitten poop off the flooring with bleach now the floor is dull amd the microfiber doesn’t glide smoothly like in my bedroom where they don’t poop on floor .
Little confused here .. #2. You said not to use anything with wax - polish or OIL.. yet you add essential oil & dawn dish soap to mop with...🤔.. And that wasn't just a drop or 2 you added
Seeing someone giving advice and just shifting the mop back and forth, that not how you mop and pick up dirt, you just spreading it around and hoping the mop magically absorb dirt. 😅
@@anneshirley9560 Not sure why it's hard to understand that this is just a clip for a video?? I don't believe in brooms. I use a vacuum... It picks up more dust and dirt than any broom. Brooms just circulate dust into the air.

That was going to be exactly my same question ⁉️
Just to add the scent into the floor
Thankyou also no fabric conditioner xx
Can I use Pine Sol on my wood laminate flooring?
Yes
How do you clean wax from laminate flooring? I have little circle stains all over my kitchen from making this mistake
You can try vinegar.... it's acidic and should breakdown the wax buildup but it'll definitely take a few rounds ❤️
what type of mop is this? I need one that takes out most of the water to avoid warping
what about vinegar?
What can you do if bleach water has taken the shine off of your laminate floor? My cleaning lady made a terrible mistake and used it on my flooring.
Thank you 🤗

Yes this video came up on my feed. I didn't search for it.
I dry my mopped floor with a fresh microfiber mop or flat mop.
Dish soap doesn’t have antibacterial properties. Why not use something that kills bacteria?
You can add isopropyl alcohol which does disinfect
@@maidbynature399 it will also help the water solution dry faster.
What about Pine Sol?
Facts ❤️

I use all of those things 😂 floors are still great 😂
Laminate flooring is the worst crap to ever be brought out. Don’t like real wood floors? Try vinyl flooring instead.

It's a 2 sec clip....give it a rest 🤣🤣
Eww. How dirty is your mop head that it doesn't pick up dirt? Plus, don't you sweep your floors?

Hot water and powdered Tide
You say no steam and moisture and you said you need hot water
hot water from the sink/tub is about 100 degrees cooler than steam. So its not hot enough to damage the floors. And she is a damp mop. Not soaking wet
