I think the fact that Bruce says "if anyone else did this the judge would lock them up" shows just how broken the political and justice system is in America. They're an absolute joke. The judges worrying about who the defendant is, not what the defendant did, shows clear as day why political and judicial systems should be completely independent of each other, like they are (mostly) here in Europe and in Ireland. The American system needs to be dismantled completely and rebuilt.
The sub judice rule in UK prevents detailed reporting and public statements about a case to avoid prejudicing the trial and the jury that's selected.
With the US media circus and TV appearances by some witnesses it's playing into Trump's claims.
Simply having elected officials and party affiliated appointed judges gives an attack surface.
But the fact is there's a system of patronage, students and graduates are incubated by wealthy donors; their social contacts and job depend on loyalty to the party affiliation.
Merchan's caution has reason, he doesn't want to give grounds for appeal on his decision on constitutional grounds.
He's also worried that if he does put Trump in jail then he's going to make some stupid ridiculous case that this is unconstitutional and It's a witch Hunt and then it's going to go through the appellate court and then it's going to go up to the supreme Court and members of scotus will try to help him and say well. You know what is Free. Speech is his political speech. I want you to go back and differentiate between political speech and the non-political speech this sounds like campaign stuff to me and lie slander and be the political hacks that members of skonus are that are aiding and abetting a criminal traitor that tried to end America

1st Ammendment clearly states that the Government cannot Restrict your Right to Speech for any reason. The Gag Order is not Constitutional, anyone else would have to obay the Gag order because we do not have the power to challenge the authority and power of the US government but a former President does. He will continue to violate, until 7 years from now the Spreme Court will rule the Gag Order is Unconstitutional , that's how our Justice System works. The real question in this case your missing is how can they charge him with electronion interference pass the Statue of Limitations? This "crime " They haven't named yet happened in 2016, (8years ago) the Affair (18 years ago)

Trump wants to break his gag order to complain against college campus protests, but what about Jan 6?
He's asking us to believe that the tantrums he authorizes are the only legitimate tantrums.
What about Jan 6th? When trump said to protest peacefully? No one who has done any research or has common sense believes Jan 6th was an insurrection.
He breaks the gag order to respond to the baseless claims of Cohen and the others who frequently attack his campaign. It seems strange that the judge permits them to continually attack his campaign without allowing a response from Trump. If anything that is election interference at its finest. I think the judge realizes how biased he is coming off to middle-of-the-road individuals like myself when he does that and is the sole reason he hasn't yet placed Trump in jail because it will only further discredit this longshot of criminal prosecution.

This is a shining example of our two-tiered justice system, but not in the way Trump says it is. Because of who he is, he’s given preferential treatment, ergo he’s on the top tier. Let’s all pray that SCOTUS rules that Trump, or any president, is not above the law. Then let’s pray that he loses in November and sent to prison to live out his days with Bubba.

Police have frequently been found guilty of crimes, or at least gone to court after being charged with crimes, such as murder. No one has ever been protected from criminal acts like Trump wants.
