I was about to use it back when the HD60 came out but my anxiety was preventing me to do so at that time and I didn't have much time to use it up until now. Hopefully, I won't repeat past mistakes.

Yes you’re gonna have to have a pc/laptop because that’s what the other end of the cable has to plug into in order to see what you captured and to be able to save it on something forever.

Hi, I plugged everything in the right places and I downloaded the software I needed, but it still doesn't work for me. Do I need a specific hdmi cord? Is the type of laptop I'm using not supported for this stuff? Everything is updated, I have a Lenovo laptop and I'm using the Elgato HD60 (same one you're using in the video). Do you think maybe the type of laptop I'm using doesn't provide enough power for the USB cord or something? The capture card software says "there's no capture care devices found" even though everything is plugged in. I also don't have a monitor but I've seen others where you don't need one for it to work.. but do I actually need a monitor for it to work properly? The game is showing on the TV and the elgato turned on too, but the information isn't connecting to my laptop and won't show. Btw I'm terrible with this technology stuff so I'm completely lost on why this doesn't work for me even though I plugged in everything correctly.
So does this help game chat audio be heard on twitch? Also does this help audio for catch up your video speed so it doesn’t look like a bad voice over like a hold Chinese movie? I’m thinking of getting a capture card but I don’t wanna spend that much money if it’s not worth it or doesn’t help any of that

Also can i use my normal headset or will I need to buy a real microphone for my voice, like can I have it plugged in my controller or will I need 2 separate mics?
When using a microphone does it still record the microphone audio if I link the microphone by usb into the Xbox or does it have to be connected to the laptop?. because I'll be using a microphone for party chats so I'll need to connect it to the Xbox anyway, and a headset linked to my controller and the microphone using a splitter.

@@sizzlebeamz8785 I finally found a fix for the problem, I found out that my USB cable is a USB 2.0 instead of a USB 3.0, I’ll drop you a link to the difference and how they look like..
I have a hd60s I have a chat link. With or without the chat link.... I can get my party’s voices to be heard, but not mine. I cannot figure it out for the life of me.
I’ve done everything in the video I have the in port on the elgato threw a hdmi to the in hdmi port on my Xbox and I have the out port on my elgato going to my monitor with also the elgato usb plugged into my pc but it’s just saying no signal on my monitor. Any way to fix this ?

Yeah you have to change volume output to headphones and speakers. It’ll record all sound you hear

ARMD 2k yea I figured it out. My display was set to 1440p so I had to lower it to 1080p for the signal to show up

no you can stream twitch directly from xbox, but it doesn’t record the game chat audio only the party chat and whatever audio is happening in game
