Everyone starts somewhere! I remember my first video was me using a digital camera that could only record video at like 160p with no audio and I was recording a glitch I found on Tony Hawk 2 for the N64 when I was like 10 😂😂
Option 3 doesn't require connection of a controller to windows bro. Just hit cancel and you can control your Xbox as normal without input lag. Then your PC via OBS and a webcam is purely just a capture tool with very little lag. But if you want to eliminate all lag, have the Xbox on another monitor and play as normal.
I was going to ask about this. Input lag is one thing, but how is the display latency? Pure frameserving at 1080p30 is going to be ~1.5Gbps, so there has to be compression going on at the Xbox before the frames are sent to the PC. That's got to introduce some latency.

Most likely because your connection isn't that great. Try using ethernet cords for both the xbox and pc, if you're still having issues then you'll need a capture card 🙂
The first method works really well for me actually purely cause i want to do fighting game videos and matches rarely last 2-5 minutes so i can just edit the matches together to make the videos

Also if you do get an external usb 3.0 or higher thumb drive, external hard drive or external ssd you can record in one hour chunks instead of just a couple of minutes, even when recording in 4K HDR on my xbox one x it still allows me to do 1 hour chunks, I also used to use an og xbox one with an external drive and that also allows one hours chunks just without HDR or 4k for obvious reasons

Idk if it's a setting on Xbox One or perhaps a new one for Xbox Series systems, but you can record gameplay. I have mine currently recording to a thumb drive. Just has to be formatted to NTFS and be of decent size. I imagine it uses the same options as captures/clips. Instead of being limited to 30s or 1m, you can have like 1hr of recording. I don't think it records your voice tho if your mic is on (maybe in a party or game chat?), but it did not for me while playing a game with my mic on and playing single player.
Just ordered one can't wait to use it but I took o e back before as it laged when I was playing live whilst trying to record just hope it doesn't happen again but I'm sure I can sort this out
I do have this one thing how come when I record on my xbox series X the video doesn't lineup with the movement so say like if I jump there's already a noise before when I jump if you know what I mean. It's kind of like when you watch squid gaming in English version and the voices is not on point with the mouth movements because it's a South Korea.

Whenever I download the game capture software it says HD60 needs to be connected to a USB 3.0 port to function. I have all the cords plugged in right so I don’t know what to do?
@@whiteshadowgaming354 You have to make sure you plug it into a USB 3.0 port. Most newer computers have them, usually the port looks blue colored as opposed to the normal USB port.

The Share portion of the Xbox X is glitchy. OneDrive upload does not work correctly . And remember a capture is not in the system until you get a window saying "uploaded to the Xbox Network. Then it does not share to OneDrive even though it indicates that it did. It won't be there. But there is a way around that glitch. First, list them all. Don't ever initially select just one capture to upload or the last one captured. Then once they are all listed go to the bottom and choose select all of them that way. When they come up, go all the way to the right at the top and choose the listing icon. It will now include an Icon, Upload to OneDrive. That button actually works and it will ask for confirmation. The reported reset Console fix did not work for me but this does.
Hey Lopez! I've heard others experiencing this as well so you're not alone. I'm not 100% sure since I still have it on mine, however let's try a few things. 1. Make sure you are logged in with your Twitch account (and are above the age of 13 - twitch's rules, not mine) and see if the broadcast bar appears. 2. Check to confirm that there are no parental blocks on your xbox settings that might have accidentally been enabled.

Ok I got it working still see delay like it's not like playing off the Xbox to tv like there's always a little bit of a delay with the capture card I found ways to make less delay but there's still little parts of delay lol it's great to no audio works so on the record on video it can't hear me frok Xbox but it can hear friends so when I record on elgato and then I record on GeForce is well and I talk and it's coming for my GeForce recording and the elgato recorder is getting my friends voices so it works on what I planed on doing so that's awesome just wish the little bit of delay could go it's not to bad but would be awesome to have zero delay like 8f I was playing on Xbox to tv like that instant so do u have delay when playing shooters

Thats really odd. You shouldn't really have much delay from your cap card to your TV then from there you don't even need the software if youre using streamlabs obs since you can just use a video input device to show the capture card 🙂

Recording is done all offline. So internet speed would only matter if you're streaming or for halo matchmaking. How is everything connected on your end? Xbox > HD60S+ hdmi in > Hdmi out from hd60s+ to TV > micro usb to pc/laptop usb 3.0 port?
How I do my videos is that I use the capture feature and then have the xbox app on my phone. Then save the video to my gallery and upload it to my RUclips channel. 👍

I stopped watching youtube on xbox one. For 2 years it wouldnt play anything over 480p if i selected 720p or god knows 1080p it would play for 10 sec then load for 5-20 sec. My internet isnt the problem. My xbox is connected with a cable. When I watch 1080p on my phone via wifi it has no problem at all same for my laptop but I want to watch on the big screen 😡. I connected my xbox to wifi and it still didnt play 720p or 1080p. This confirms the problem isnt my internet. I went to microsoft support to no avail. I updated the app and reinstalled it countless times. Please help!
I think my favorite way is to stream on twitch and then open OBS Studios record then you go to twitch and record the gameplay from there. It’s a pain in the butt to edit if you got like three hours on this game

I use twitch to record longer videos on Xbox, i livestream my gameplay and record it off my phone, but when i'm just recording clips that are a couple seconds long only i just record what happened on Xbox and i use my phone to download the clip and upload it to YT
Kinda disappointing how much computer/drive system working the xbox has. I despise the playstation internet system but you could just record a 15 minute vid and then have it saved. I dont understand why xbox with a worst console like playstation can only make ya record a 2 minute vid. And the controls to using the built in system are weird. Ya dint have any symbols or anything pop up about ya recording it just does it. Kinda sad sense I dont have a computer.

The streaming to your Xbox Console companion on PC is NOT supported for Xbox Series X btw. Did a lot of research just to figure that out....

If you use method 3 or 4, in streamlabs obs you can connect a mic to your computer and record voice that way.

@@CpawsMusic so technically what's happening I turn and it's like half a second before turning makes halo online difficult but campaign coop I should be able to handle it hopefully so does the record uses wifi on elgato maybe I'm doing it on a standard Xbox one but I played Minecraft and delay wasn't to bad
Recording is done all offline. So internet speed would only matter if you're streaming or for halo matchmaking. How is everything connected on your end? Xbox > HD60S+ hdmi in > Hdmi out from hd60s+ to TV > micro usb to pc/laptop usb 3.0 port?
How I do my videos is that I use the capture feature and then have the xbox app on my phone. Then save the video to my gallery and upload it to my RUclips channel. 👍

Highly do not recommend the second one. I bought a usb 3.0 and my Xbox STILL said it wasn’t big enough

I've heard mixed results, usually your best bet is using a capture card.
You confused me so how would I with my Xbox and phone only as long as my broadcast camera record with my face and save it
I don't believe you can do all that just with your phone.
Playstation just go to settings, stream, youtube, start streaming.

I stopped watching youtube on xbox one. For 2 years it wouldnt play anything over 480p if i selected 720p or god knows 1080p it would play for 10 sec then load for 5-20 sec. My internet isnt the problem. My xbox is connected with a cable. When I watch 1080p on my phone via wifi it has no problem at all same for my laptop but I want to watch on the big screen 😡. I connected my xbox to wifi and it still didnt play 720p or 1080p. This confirms the problem isnt my internet. I went to microsoft support to no avail. I updated the app and reinstalled it countless times. Please help!

I think my favorite way is to stream on twitch and then open OBS Studios record then you go to twitch and record the gameplay from there. It’s a pain in the butt to edit if you got like three hours on this game

I'd recommend using the capture card method if you're having trouble with one of the other methods

I use twitch to record longer videos on Xbox, i livestream my gameplay and record it off my phone, but when i'm just recording clips that are a couple seconds long only i just record what happened on Xbox and i use my phone to download the clip and upload it to YT

Kinda disappointing how much computer/drive system working the xbox has.
I despise the playstation internet system but you could just record a 15 minute vid and then have it saved.
I dont understand why xbox with a worst console like playstation can only make ya record a 2 minute vid. And the controls to using the built in system are weird. Ya dint have any symbols or anything pop up about ya recording it just does it.

That is correct. But you could play through your PC capture as well if you'd like, but there may be some minor input delay :)
Has anyone had trouble recording with their elgato hd60s? After I’m done recording and go to edit my gameplay the video is all corrupt and way out of sync. My computer isn’t the best so I don’t know if that has something to do with it. Anyone else have this issue?
I personally haven't had this issue, but it could be your PC specs, but also I'm curious to see if anyone else has experienced this.
