OMG if you compare the 2022 ESC Italy production and staging with last year 2021 ESC in Holland, the 2021 is soooo much more sofishticated and professional, it's fully from another level! Well done Holland 🇳🇱💪😎
I actually wasn't sure if they were still shwoing the footage from that bridge or if they were in the arena. That tv production is on another level.
It's not just about the artists, Eurovision is about the production and Netherlands took an unprecedented situation and used it to their advantage. They turned covid restrictions into an amazing wildcard and pulled off one of the best Eurovision in recent history.

I still remember watching this with my friends. I was literally losing it thinking what they were doing, literally seeing the future of live TV, while my friends were just chatting. I got mad and told them: ‘Can you effing appreciate what they’re doing? The bridge is the stage!’ They went like ‘yes, a stage on a bridge, nothing special‘ then I said: ‘IT’S VIRTUAL REALITY’. Two weeks later a friend called me saying: ‘THE BRIDGE WAS VR’. I promised myself to never watch Eurovision with them again.
Is it a bridge? is it Ahoy Arena? Nope it is Afrojack combining both. Mind blowing performance 😎

Netherlands, you produced an amazing stage, amazing lighting, and awesome interval performances - an accomplishment anytime, but especially within the confines of covid and restrictions that are only just starting to be slowly lifted.
