Was it weird them only having 2 members left from their line up at their Eurovision victory? I love the new members, but they weren’t in the band for the win. It’s not like a team wins a super bowl, next year the draft happens and then all the players who join the team get a Super Bowl ring. I’m just rambling. Lordi is my favourite. Always glad to see them
@@Segwo Well, what many people may not know is that the ESC is actually a composer and lyricist competition and since Mr. Lordi wrote "Hard Rock Hallelujah", he technically won the contest on his own. Today, a band has won that wrote the winning song as a collective and therefore each member is a "true" winner.

@@Segwo I think not many people (except a music nerd like me 😁) pay attention to the people behind the scenes anymore. In the past, the songwriters were even presented on stage, while nowadays only the credits are shown on the screen for a few seconds. You're not entirely wrong when you say it's a song contest, because what makes a song is the songwriter, the producer, the engineer and the singer/band, but at the end of the day, the writing is the essential part. I'm from Germany and I know that Lena gave her trophy to Julie Frost, the main songwriter of "Satellite".

I mean, organisers set up 6 stages on 6 different buildings for 6 different performers just for a barely one minute long performances. Now that's impressive, at least for me. Overall, it was an amazing edition of Eurovision and a pleasure to watch. Well done Netherlands and thank you for a great show!👏👏👏👏👏👏

Lordi opened the path for more rock/alt entries in the following years and I'm so happy there is now broader music representation in Eurovision💃 happy to see they're still celebrated👏👏🙌
A lot of people in Greece started to comment on Helena's weight after the performance. As if they haven't seen her ever since she won the contest and as if she is not about 40 years old. It disgusts me because even famous people spoke about it on TV or on social media but at the same time I'm so glad that this comment section proves how misogynistic greek society is. Thank you so much fellow Europeans for appreciating Helena Paparizou.

It was fantastic to see Sandra Kim performing again, her entry is one of my all time favourite ESC songs.
I thought she performed it even better than in 1986. Which maybe isn't surprising considering all the time she's had to practise.
