"Diva" its not the meaning of famous but is a slavic word it means somthing divine
Diva in Ukrainian means "maiden". As in the gospel "Ave Maria! O Maiden! O Mother!".

Now it makes sense. Diva has a negatively connotation in Norwegian you see, and so it was a wierd association to bring into the mix. But now it makes sense. Thanks for enlightening us!

"Diva Maria"(Діва Марія) is Virgin Mary they wrote the Ukrainian pronunciation) and Mama Teresa is Mother Teresa 🙂 In Ukraine, they are little criticized for such a translation.
haha, that critization is legit :') It's clear what the reference is so they should keep to the primary referance. A lot of Norwegians are reacting to the use of the word Diva which has a negative connotation over here :')
Weird translation indeed. I heard Yana entered some American music school or whatnot. She should have mastered some English by now, yet her translations are still clumsy a bit. But at least this time around it is just a phrase.

it's a bit different in Ukrainian language because we call Virgin Mary - Diva Maria but it doesn't mean diva, it means virgin in Ukrainian language... I hope my explanation was clear lol
