Unbelievable, I was present in Chepauk Stadium in this January ‘73 test match never thought then that , after 47 years I will watch this match again. Thanks a lot Jai saab, done a great job 🙏😊.
Thank u a lot Jay for providing me with a chance to see the heroes of my youth in action along with the One and only one-eyed but elegant Tiger. Best wishes.
Cricket was still played as a sports for entertainment and pride. Do you know viswanath and even azhar used to work in nationalised banks. 1972 two tests and 1973 3 tests. That's all india played. Match fees rs.2000. Odis and t20s not there anywhere in world. Benefit matches held for ex cricketers for survival.
Poor cameramanship. Unimaginative commentary, in old-fashioned bookish English replete with hackneyed phrases and cliched vocab. We hard heard in those years great commentators like Sharadendu Sanyal, Vizzy, Berry Sarbadhikari and Devraj Puri electrifying descriptions of the match with their lively observations.

Super sir
Never could understand the film editing of those times. Shots of the crowd at precisely the moment of the dismissal!!!!
It's india film division news reel, which used to be seen before the start of the film in theater.
@@MOHANRAM-xp4ww So? How does that explain the editing of the film when the wicket has fallen?
Special thanks
