Sound familiar. Police today don't want to bother with the nonsense. They say, "show me the crime. Since there is no crime don't bother us with your petty arguments".
When I went in business and bought my first building, the insurance agent that I contacted for business insurance recommended that I have outdoor lighting and if it was all the way around the building it was better. Later on I decided it would be a good idea to have if nothing else signs that said this property is under video and audio surveillance 24/7. My business is not in a high crime area but I also have absolutely never had one issue with anyone trespassing or entering this property after business hours and I’ve been here for 34 years. As the gentleman said video recording is now inexpensive.

We bought 5 acres in the country ( a non-HOA acreage subdivision). We have a nice wooded area with stream on one end of our lot. The ten year old home home next door to us sold within a year of our closing on this new home and the new couple who bought the adjacent home began acting weird: surreptitious entry into our wooded area (throwing a ball obviously to give them cover for going in there, walking back and forth in front of our home and surreptitiously pacing our far lot line they dont share with us, and then getting a german shepherd dog that was trained to patrol the property line aggressively and finally, them hiring all our outdoor contractors or confronting them whenever they were doing work on this part of our land. These neighbors are well off, work from home, and she told me she is watching everything I do in this part of my land. I know they have cameras somewhere and they know when I am outside and can come out whenever I go out to harass me. Now they are avoiding me after I put up a bunch of cameras -- I don't know if the cameras have scared them off or if they are now just "playing the ropes," waiting until they can claim adverse possession of my wooded area (the previous neighbor lived there ten years so they might be able to).
My downstairs neighbor (65-year-old female) has temper tantrums and takes her frustrations out by slamming her entry door. We have asked her to stop but she ignores us! The police are useless because they side with her! She has so much power living in this private, gated community because all the "Board" and "Management" company takes her side. Spoke with a lawyer concerning the matter and he is asking for a $25,000 retainer to take the case.
I'm in the same position as you. But my 60+ y.o. Karen goes out on her patio when I'm on my balcony to yell up at me for problems she has being reported by other neighbors I know nothing about, or she'll have loud arguments with herself about me within earshot of me - effectively passive-aggressively harassing me everytime she hears me walk out here. She slams her front door morning, noon & night, rattling my windows & slams her un-oiled screeching windows shut, even after midnight (including doors). Then, she does this bizarre thing, where if she sees me walking home with a visitor, she'll stop us & act hyper friendly to my visitor (who she does not know) & talk her ear off about herself while ghosting me as I'm just standing there. She even entered into my garage when we were organizing & I went up to use the bathroom... I came down to find her in my garage with my visitor cornered in the back of my garage being what "Karen" calls "venting" on. And she had a cocktail in her hand. She's a two-faced, controlling, manipulative, entitled neighbor from hell! I once bumped my chimes while she happened to be walking by & she shouted up at me, "TOO LOUD! TOO LOUD!" Unreal, it was 2 seconds of sound!!! What a spoiled brat! I'm recording everything from now on, not engaging (as usual) & building a case for a civil lawsuit. Screw her. That's harassment. I keep to myself. Lived here 23 years. She moved in 4 or 5 years ago. Harassed me from day one.
@@GeniusJewels We have a "white" noise machine. Every time I hear she's talking to someone on the phone I turn it on. She doesn't like it and lets me know that she is allowed to talk on the phone in her apartment. I totally agree that she is allowed, but I don't need to hear every facet of her conversation; I'm not interested a bit! She has asked me about it and I've said I don't need nor want to know your life and the problems you have. She replies "but, why not". I walk away because I don't feel like carrying on a conversation with her. Every weekend she parties with four to five girls in her tiny apartment and it's a sleepover party. We use the white noise machines plus a fan to drown out the party and the breaking of glass(es) in the bathroom and kitchen. She just laughs it off and goes shopping the next day to replace the stuff. I don't get it. If a guest broke glasses in my bathroom and kitchen and giggled about it all night, I definitely wouldn't have them over. Definitely don't like nor do sleepover pajama parties.
My neighbors keep putting nails in my tires, hacked into my WiFi and I believe all my socials and emails to keep track of what I’m doing because they have illegal traffic and think I called the police on them for it. They keep threatening me, they have dirty cops I think one of them is related to a cop and want me to retaliate and get myself in trouble. They want me to look like I’m just rambling and crazy. I belief everything I’m doing they are monitoring me. They think I’m trying to interfere with their operation and their supplier keeps disrupting my life my sleep, everything I do. Karma is a bitch. They keep saying I’m not going to do anything.

What if they complain about small stuff,bang on your wall when tv was on only two bar sound,throw ivy over your fence saying it came from your side even though its in the hedge and wild,shoat you over hedge and say sanding some small item at 8.45pm is ilegal,cut shared hedges with out telling you.tell you you can jot cut top of hedge even though it growning well over your boundary.make treats like wait untill i find out who feeds that squirel.ect ect.its lots of things and im pensioner who lives alone.he a man in his late 30s.
