Might be going down to 41 this year. The 45 is starting to look like a computer on your wrist. I use mine mainly for fitness. 41mm is lighter and cheaper. Win win.
One thing that I think would be helpful in being able to compare the different sized screens is to turn on the ‘flashlight’ on each watch. Think this would help be able to see the edge of the bezels and visually compre them a little better.
I was nearly convinced the 41mm was the way to go but decided to delay making final decision until going into the physical Apple store to see both and try them on. Seeing them live, the 41mm seemed so much smaller than it appears in videos. I tried both on and preferred the 45mm. I have small to average wrist size and it fit well and did not look too big. I too was worried about looking like I had a mini tablet on my wrist. It didn’t look that way at all. I recommend seeing them in person and trying both on before deciding. I ordered the 45 in midnight black aluminum with matching band. Glad I went to see them before deciding.
You're definitely right. Before watching this video, I went to Apple store to check this and I didn't like the 41mm. It looks too small, so I was planning to get the 45mm. It is totally different from watching the video and seeing them in person.
Great video. I started off with a 42 mm series 0 then upgraded to the series 4 in a 40mm because of the size and weight of the stainless steel model being a little heavier than I liked. And continued with the series 7 41 mm stainless steel for this year.
41mm for me! This feels more like a typical timepiece face and also less likely to be in the way during daily usage. I especially feels this way for the stainless steel models as it tends to pop more or look bigger as opposed to the 41mm looking low key. Just my thoughts to those interested.
