good lord, what a rarity- a video that just gets to the damn point, speaks plainly and clearly, and demonstrates the actual point concisely and without a 25 minute history lesson that rambles until it forgets to ever do what it set out to do in the first place... it's a freakin' miracle!
truly an instance of needing a 'double like' button. a serious thank you.

Is there a way to not have the power go to the "light", but just complete that circuit? The scenario I have is like two circuits: 1 circuit to just light up the led on the switch when "on", and the other circuit is when the switch is "on", but no power goes to it. It already has power, but I want to interrupt it with a switch. I am installing a fuse bypass switch (2 pin), but would like to use a nice button switch with an LED indicator when on.

How do i power up a selenoid and have the light go on and turn off when i power it off? which wires go where? I want to go from a power source to the switch and then to one wire on the selenoid and then back out of the selehoid to the negative battery or ground. How is this wired to accomplish this? I want to engage the AC compressor and keep it on but when i might forget i need the light showing it is still engaged so how is this done?

Hello. I bought a switch that was rated on the aliexpress ad as: 9-30v(12v) button. When I got it, it says it's rated for 12-24v. Is it possible to use to turn on am amplifier that will send 150watts total? I think my battery pack will give around 26v.

Can anyone help? I have a orange juice vending machine. It had a start button(halo switch 6pins) I want to change it to rf remote. When I pulled one of the cable to figure out the led light, switch never worked again. I bought another halo switch but I can’t figure out the cables coming from the mainboard. There is red, black and 2 gray ones. I figured one of the gray is positive for led, so if I connect 2 grays led turns on(12v led light), if I connect positive gray and black cable which I think is ground, led turns on. I have no idea about the red cable and the other gray cable. If someone can help me would be great. Thank you

I have halo switches five wire 19mm with power ring and symbol LED. I want to be able to link three switches with power to distribute it out to three colors of LED lights which have a black wire and other colored wires for blue green and red LEDs . I have a115 volt to 12 volt transformer having a positive and negative 12 volt output. My question is how to i power my LED lights with three switches turning on and off the LED marker lights and have the power symbol and ring turn on when i turn on the marker lamps each turning on separate LED marker lamps. How is the wiring done to make this work?

    • @chomytuideas1784
      @chomytuideas1784  2 года назад +1

You may use 3 halo switches. Tap the common wires(blue) of your 3 halo switches to your +12v power source. Connect the black wires together of you 3 halo switches to (-12v) of your power source. Tap the red wire of your halo switch to each of the normally open wires (green). Connect the normally open wires (green) to each of the positive input of your led lights separtely. Then connect the negative input of your led lights to negative source.

      3. Tap 85 sa ground
      4. reserve mo muna yung 86
      halo switch:
      1. Tap COM (common) to accessory wire ng ignition switch (wire yan na magkaroon lang ng kuryente once naka-on yung susi ng motor)
      2. Tap NO (Normally Open) to 86 ng relay
      3. Tap (+) to NO (Normaly open)
      4. Tap (-) to ground
      yun lang. Thanks

POS and Minus hooked up to the dash lights so the halo is activated when I turn on the lights. And the COM hooked up to the ground wire from the Thermo switch and either NC or NO to a ground. I tried this wiring up some LED lights in my garage, running off of a car battery (no mains power). I found it worked slightly differently, even though the switch and harness are identical. I wanted the halo switch to be on when the lights where off (so I could find it in the dark) and switch off when the lights were on (so I didn't drain any unnecessary power from the battery. I tried wiring it up according to this video and the switch just worked as normal but with no halo light working. I found if I connected the green wire to the power supply whilst red and yellow were connected and connected blue to the lights it worked as expected. The switch will only sit in the jacket one way. You might wish to try this if you are experiencing the same problems
