Is there a way to not have the power go to the "light", but just complete that circuit? The scenario I have is like two circuits: 1 circuit to just light up the led on the switch when "on", and the other circuit is when the switch is "on", but no power goes to it. It already has power, but I want to interrupt it with a switch. I am installing a fuse bypass switch (2 pin), but would like to use a nice button switch with an LED indicator when on.
So... Connect to an accessory wire if u want it on all time but only when vehicle turns on right? to avoid battery draining we don't connect straight to battery
How do i power up a selenoid and have the light go on and turn off when i power it off? which wires go where? I want to go from a power source to the switch and then to one wire on the selenoid and then back out of the selehoid to the negative battery or ground. How is this wired to accomplish this? I want to engage the AC compressor and keep it on but when i might forget i need the light showing it is still engaged so how is this done?
Hello. I bought a switch that was rated on the aliexpress ad as: 9-30v(12v) button. When I got it, it says it's rated for 12-24v. Is it possible to use to turn on am amplifier that will send 150watts total? I think my battery pack will give around 26v.
So can the halo have its own power supply ? Say I want to mount 10 of these switch’s on a switch board, can I daisy chain style jump the ground and jump the halo power wire so that can all stay on all the time

Can anyone help? I have a orange juice vending machine. It had a start button(halo switch 6pins) I want to change it to rf remote. When I pulled one of the cable to figure out the led light, switch never worked again. I bought another halo switch but I can’t figure out the cables coming from the mainboard. There is red, black and 2 gray ones. I figured one of the gray is positive for led, so if I connect 2 grays led turns on(12v led light), if I connect positive gray and black cable which I think is ground, led turns on. I have no idea about the red cable and the other gray cable. If someone can help me would be great. Thank you
All the halo switches I’ve seen have been momentary but it appears this one is latching. Do you still have the number or maker of the switch? I tried the link but it is dead
Just be aware. many a people have used these without relays. Then they don't work. These are designed for relays. As they only handle 5 amps...Why they have 5 connectors and 6 connectors. Depending on uses.....So only 50 watts max... And fuse them with a 5 amp fuse on the source side.
I have halo switches five wire 19mm with power ring and symbol LED. I want to be able to link three switches with power to distribute it out to three colors of LED lights which have a black wire and other colored wires for blue green and red LEDs . I have a115 volt to 12 volt transformer having a positive and negative 12 volt output. My question is how to i power my LED lights with three switches turning on and off the LED marker lights and have the power symbol and ring turn on when i turn on the marker lamps each turning on separate LED marker lamps. How is the wiring done to make this work?
You may use 3 halo switches. Tap the common wires(blue) of your 3 halo switches to your +12v power source. Connect the black wires together of you 3 halo switches to (-12v) of your power source. Tap the red wire of your halo switch to each of the normally open wires (green). Connect the normally open wires (green) to each of the positive input of your led lights separtely. Then connect the negative input of your led lights to negative source.
