Sweet beauty, and the fact that the yellow paint is so tricky to handle (at least as I see it) adds yet more merit to your build. I must get a Sea King for myself one day. It´s a helicopter I always liked a lot.
Great build son. Looking forward to seeing your next build. I hope you and your family stay safe and have a good Christmas and all the best for the new year.
It is a great, very enjoyable build a huge improvement on the older kit. You do get a lot of plastic for your money. I wish it came with a crew, two pilots and winchman.
I agree with you about crew, what also disappoints is Airfix releasing kits that had more than one crew member but you only get one aircrew member in the kit, Blenheim for example
PJ Productions from Belgium do a really nice SAR crew set, 2 pilots, winchman and rescue swimmer in the door. The helmets are current US model (HGU-56P) but not many will notice in 1/72 scale. They also have nice 1/48 helicopter crew sets, including a Royal Navy set for the Airfix Lynx (could probably be used on the Italeri Wessex as well). They can be found on E-bay as well. Really need to check them out; I've got crew sets from them for all my helicopters... which is a lot!
@@Ryker45 yes they are from a old model sheet I have there are some decals that I will still use that came with the kit, the kit is coming along very nice now
Great modellers don’t need airbrush:) I wish I was such one.
