Random question, did you ever try Sony sharpshooter and killzone 3 on PS3? With the move controller attached to the rifle? If so, was the tracking on psvr1 with the move controller, just as bad as in killzone? Or was it improved?
@@grahamkelly8662 never tried it on PS3, but the aim controller of the PSVR had many issues due to the camera tracking too. In games like farpoint where you most likely play while standing and turn around yourself, the camera would lose track of your headset or aim controller frequently. You had some issues in Rush of Blood with the move controllers as well, but it was way better due to the fact that you are sitting. With a good camera position and calibration it was really convincing, but nothing to compare with the PSVR2 tracking I guess! 😅

I remember to feel a little of motion sickness on the roller coaster in Rush of Blood on the PSVR.Does Switchback on the PSVR2 cause less motion sickness? If yes, do you know why from your own impression?
I have personally experienced motion sickness in the games with low fps and when turning the camera around myself by gamepad not the body itself. With PS VR2 everything is smooth as flat games are and I have not experienced it again. Concerning turning the camera I try to set it as conveniently as possible for myself. In some games you can set the speed of turning or use tunnelling (vignette) for turning or snap turn, e.g. in Horizon I use snap turn combined with own body turn.
May I ask how you found the grain (Mura I think) with this? I found it really noticeable in Resident Evil Village when walking through the forest when it was dark. I wondered if this was the same with it being so dark?
Going by your comments during gameplay, I guess you never played Rush of Blood on PSVR? The marked boxes are to keep your multiplier up. And it always remembers the guns you have in the hand, if they still have ammo, when you get a new gun in that hand. The new gun goed in the hand you shot the box with. Is a bit too similar to Rush of Blood. Haven't played the Dark Picture games yet, so maybe that's why this game impresses me less than Rush of Blood, which is based on Until Dawn. The mannequins made sense in the circus kinda setting of Rush of Blood. Here, for me at the moment it comes across as if they didn't know what else to put in. But maybe I'm missing a link between the games, other than the same developer.
Soooo if it reacts to blinking your eyes..... what happens if you're in such a situation and just blink one eye per time, so you always keep one eye opened........ ???
Im surprised I either missed you mention it, or that you didnt mention the poor graphics. Not even expecting the best psvr2 can deliver, I was a little disappointed this is what $40 got us. gameplay is pretty fun so far, but Ill have to findout in time for the rest
I've always been fun first and visuals later gamer but tbh I don't have an issue with the visuals here at all, the initial cutscene in the train is blurry as hell (not sure why, looks like a filter to make it seem like a flashback or memory or something, it's odd) but as soon as I was into the actual game I was having a great time and it looked decently sharp (not as crisp as RE Village but much better than No Man's Sky for example) I've heard some saying it looks worse than PSVR1... crazy to me that some people feel thats the case
10 levels with branching paths so to see everything you'll need a few runs of each level, the levels themselves vary in length but the ones I played were 20-25minutes long. Longer if you include the times I died or failed puzzles
I think you're more at risk of the FOV doing that. If you've ever seen your quest 2 running in native resolution it will be similar to that but just a bit sharper, the graphics being so good and sharp at the same time will be enough to make your quest 2 feel like the mobile hardware it is.
@@visorrepublic I'm not so concerned about graphics I can and do use my quest with a high end PC and don't mind going back and forth between mobile and PC depending on the game it more image quality I think I'd have a hard time adjusting too it could ruin pcvr for me

@@visorrepublic having seen hdr on a tv I can tell you it's a game changer it's like a next gen upgrade buy it's self. But even without hdr there are other things that improve image quality and clarity other than just resolution the contrast of the oled being a big one better optics being another both things I notice the quest 2 isn't great at though it's the only VR headset I have experience with those are obvious things I would like improved. Obviously I could just get the psvr and really enjoy it the problem is all the thousands of games are on PC I already play something like half life Alex and am very impressed by the visuals but with things could just be clearer I'd probably feel even more like that if the psvr2 was a big upgrade in that department. But maybe I'm missing a link between the games, other than the same developer.
How big of a graphical jump do you feel psvr2 is compared to the Quest 2?
If you're talking about Quest 2 standalone and not hooked up to a PC, then the difference is massive. Like jumping from PS2 to PS4 Pro
Dude... Why even ask this? Isn't it obvious? Not even the Quest 3 will be comparable to PSVR2.
@@Jdb63 definitely a huge upgrade
I wonder what would happen in the beginning if instead of blinking normally, you opened and closed one eye at a time 🤔.
@23:38 Winnie the Pooh...
The don't blink mechanic is only in 1 level???
Why didn't you warn us of the PSVR1 level of graphics? You deceived me into thinking this was a safe preorder
Soooo if it reacts to blinking your eyes..... what happens if you're in such a situation and just blink one eye per time, so you always keep one eye opened........ ???
Looks promising i may get this one.
hey bro would u recomment a quest 2 or does it have many cons? i haven't played any vr game but i love vr.
i want to play games like fallout 4, walking dead etc u know open world type.
Looks way too good!
Is it more scarier than Rush of Blood? From scale 1 to 10 how many points that you will give after trying this game?
Unfortunately they never patched Rush of Blood on PS5 hopefully we will get a remaster at some Point 🤞
Man....getting jealous over here in PCVR and Quest land....
Why do the uzis sound like you’re shaking a spray paint can? Assuming they sound better in the headset.
Haha miles better, the flat audio here doesn't do it any justice at all
You're also hearing his controller clicks mixing in with the weapon noises, because he's mic'd up at high volume for the playtest reaction.
"Put that spit back in your mouth" 😫🤣🤣
Better there than splattered all over my face!!!
wow I cant wait to get mine!!!
Can’t wait!!!
Haha awesome , gonna get this game - look great
It's brilliant, make sure you wear your brown trousers though...
@@BeardoBenjo 😆😆 I’ll wear a nappy that way I can pee pee too , how’s it compared to your other vr headsets ..especially valve index?
Looks like House of the Dead on a rollercoaster.
I wish someone would make a game similar to rush of blood for quest
I want to look into one though yeah eventually. Hope it comes to my best buy!
Looks great.
Any info on game length?
10 levels with branching paths so to see everything you'll need a few runs of each level, the levels themselves vary in length but the ones I played were 20-25minutes long. Longer if you include the times I died or failed puzzles
Does the visual clarity of the psvr 2 make it hard to go back to a quest 2 headset?
I think you're more at risk of the FOV doing that. If you've ever seen your quest 2 running in native resolution it will be similar to that but just a bit sharper, the graphics being so good and sharp at the same time will be enough to make your quest 2 feel like the mobile hardware it is.
@@visorrepublic I'm not so concerned about graphics I can and do use my quest with a high end PC and don't mind going back and forth between mobile and PC depending on the game it more image quality I think I'd have a hard time adjusting too it could ruin pcvr for me
@@rorynolan2322 Nah I'm sure you will be fine, the resolution will be comparable, it's only slightly higher on the PSVR2, the Quest 2 is almost 4K. The HDR screen though, I don't know how much of a difference that will make as personally I've never seen HDR.
It's a shame you can't use the device on PC though obvious why it wouldnt
@@rorynolan2322 Yeah I dont think we are going to be dissapointed, we're gonna be spoiled, hopefuly not enough to ruin other VR experiences from other HMDs. It will probably be like Pizza Hut vs Dominos, both good choices but one is prefered.
Beardo: No don’t run her over. Don’t add injury to insult.
Me: Yes!! Run her ass over!!
Beardo: Shoots her while leaving.
Me: You learn quickly boy😂
