Another big beautiful home sitting on a lot of land. Things I would change: update outdated fixtures and switch out basic tubs with stand-up showers. Add 1 or 2 standalone tubs for family/guests to use in areas that can handle it. Put toilet and sink vanity as separate space from the bathroom. Liven up stairways/walkways leading to garages. Complete the unfinished attic area. Create a walkway to the massive backyard's possible gazebo/grill area/water fountain. The asking price is more than worth it.
I love this house! It reminds me so much of my parents' old house except they had a four car garage. They loved to entertain and this is clearly a house made for people who love to entertain. And, my dad had flat screen t'v.'s in the kitchen and all the bathrooms, so he would never miss his sports, lol! I didn't think I would ever see another basement that looked so much like our old basement, I'll have to show my dad this video, he'll love the house, too! Thank you Jonathan!
Absolutely Beautiful property that is worth every penny of the asking price! John I too am a die hard popcorn fan, I literally eat popcorn everyday! My all time favorite is homemade stovetop popcorn, in fact I’m eating a bowl of homemade popcorn as I watch your great videos! Thanks for sharing about your favorite snack and about your beautiful family three sons and amazing wife! ❤😊
IF I could afford that home, I'd be worried about hosting a party and someone being "hidden" somewhere in that home. 🤣 🤣 IMO, it's DEFINITELY worth it!
I love this house and property! It is my dream. It was tastefully done, and it flows well. I would be happy just living on that porch. I would pay the asking price. I would change very little.
I love this home! I live in Santa Barbara, California I must say this is a very good price for this home. You are lucky to buy a 3 bedroom town house in Santa Barbara for this price. Time to move out of here. Thank you for the tour.
Yes I would buy this house but would definitely need maids, cooks every now and then❤kids, grandkids, other family would enjoy it all. Only need a swimming pool.
The property is huge! Way more eating areas than you will ever need LOL! The kitchen is way oversized! Paradise if you can afford it! I thought it would cost more!
The price seems right. Well planned storage and closets. A great home for one who does a lot of entertaining or to use the home at special times of the year for special events. A great investment for a serious caterer who prepares samples to serve to potential clients for an event (unless a commercial range/oven is required plus a commercial hood), all depends on what type of food/desert. The home is set up for special events that requires a butler, service provider etc. Even a small scale washer/dryer for tea towels, table linen, hot tub towels etc. I may have missed a shower in the area near the hot tub, so much going on with this house. A staff gardener would have use of the bottom or lowest basement with the garage door, missing a toilet and utility bowl for use by a gardener/handy man or service provider. Trying to remember I think the main washer and dryer was in the area of the primary bed/living area. Thanks for sharing.
I hope there's another laundry room/ don't like having at the front of the house/ bathrooms are dated(I can live with)/ don't like microwave placed low/ seems too secluded, definitely need several people with me 😂. Despite my issues of the house overall it's a huge, beautiful home at a great price. It must be bang for your bucks because of location.
love love love the traditional classic colonial (?) style with the expansive porch. the grounds made me gasp. I love Ellicott City too but it does need some updating. I think the price is close to accurate, maybe.
Beautiful, spacious home. From the front porch areas to the third floor, the two separate three car garage spaces and additional garage area underneath the garage. Also the unfinished area above one set of garage, the theater room and huge livable area in basement with the pool table. I watched twice. There was a main floor bedroom next to the small room with pocket doors that was not shown. This home has everything and plenty of space. The yard is a few park like settings, extremely huge. This home is well worth the price and some💰💰💰💰💰💰💰
I love the house. Just too big for me.🙃 I would just throw dinner parties all the time.... Nonetheless, I love older homes. The materials are better. Like real hard wood floors. That pantry is huge. I just love that master bedroom. Loving the blue. I would change the color of the master bathroom. Still nice. Walk in closets in the rooms as they should. That basement has all the amenities I need. That room down there looks like a classroom setup for training or what have you. The back yard is more of what I expect when spending over a million. The price is great compared to those new builds with no yard...🙄 The beginning started great! And then you backtracked instead of going forward with the flow. Which would have brought you back to the main stairs to go up stairs. This caused for that missed room on the main level. They teach us with inspections, counterclockwise, right to left for each room. You can't go wrong. Take your time. We love the content!🤗 May I also suggest that a Floorplan and Overview would be a nice addition.😁 Congratulations on your son 🌞 entering higher learning!✨️
I said it before SLOW DOWN!!! Because, as usual, you missed some things, like the bedroom on the main floor. We get a glimpse of it at the 3:33 point in the video. And the pocket doors in the master bedroom between the bedroom area and the sitting area. By the two-sided fireplace. And you missed the back staircase. And the basement room with the chalkboard paint is probably used as a classroom for home schooling.
Overall, a really nice and peaceful house. Got potential. I Think if there supporting column (19:58) was relocated or taken out, could be another bedroom.
Beautiful home and yard, but not for me. You'd need a lot more friends than I have to need to live there. I'd be happy to resell it tho. It's gorgeous. I wonder if the people who lived there really needed all those wine coolers -- hummm. Price is right.
I'm so worn down by NY prices I was expecting a higher quote. If one has a larger family they should definitely snap that house up. The few upgrades/renovations needed would be well worth the investment and that would be THE house everyone would want to hang out at.
Congratulations to your son Stylist he's in my neck of the woods I'm C/O 2010 Oh that's my dream house I love everything but that brown carpet and the water system it's scares the heck out of but the price is really scary. I guess I'll keep dreaming
My man Johnathan missed a few rooms...🤔 Needs to drop about 100K into the 2nd floor and basement and it's real good. House is huge you'll need a small staff and deep pockets.
Looks like a renovated plantation home to me but that's my opinion and there's just absolutely too much going on. But someone could make it their own with their fabulous Interior Decorator skills
I love the property! However, Defintely need bedrooms updated with the flooring. Remove dated carpet and add new carpet or flooring. Bathrooms need updated as well. It’s a lot of house. Not for me but absolutely for the right family
The house is huge. It has a lot of wasted space and too many doors. I can see a multi-generational family living in this house, but all the rooms with carpet need to be changed, some of those fireplaces need to be removed, and we don't need 4 beverage/wine fridges. The flooring needs to be uniformed throughtout the home. The excess needs to be toned down. The master bathroom, all of them really, are in serious need of some renovation. The closet is amazing!!!!! You passed by the doors upstairs that could have possibly been the second laundry area.
Ellicott City is very expensive the property taxes are even high. Very sought out town to live in. Schools are great not a lot of crime but you get what you pay for. I live in Columbia and it’s not as expensive.
Are you sure that 3rd floor room with 'particle board' wasn't a room lined with cedar for protective storage? I always line closets with cedar boards like this.
The step between the kitchen and the living room is very dangerous: someone is gonna fall off it, not knowing it's there. Awful for older folks, wheelchairs, drunkards.
I wanna know where all the energy efficiencies are. I expect solar panels, heavy insulation, heat pumps, heat-pump water heaters, electric stove. If the house doesn't have these energy-saving features, it's dated: take off at least $500k. This house will be very expensive to retro-fit. Although pretty, this house is just indulgent without the energy efficiencies. I'm really appalled at how a few people live compared to the "real" people, and it's the "real" people who are indirectly supporting this extravagance with low paychecks and taxes that advantage the wealthy while barely a bone to hard earners. I would also want to see an expensive house have universal design, so everything on the main floor should be accessible for in-laws, kids with broken legs, and people who have a hard time getting around. There needs to be a separate suite on the main flower for these contingencies. FWIW those large showers are drafty. Brrrr....
This is the best house you've reviewed, in my opinion. I was thinking 2.5 or 3 million. If I could, I would. Thanks Jonathan.
I am a caterer…. This is literally the home I see in my dreams I would pay every penny
That house is stunning; I would definitely pay 2 million.
Another big beautiful home sitting on a lot of land. Things I would change: update outdated fixtures and switch out basic tubs with stand-up showers. The grounds and the yard this is literally my dream home
Wow, what a house! I don’t think it’s a bad price at all. Just missing a pool.
And a pool/guest house!!
That house is amazing!
Yes, this is the dream home. Good luck to the new owner.
This house is absolutely beautiful. Just some minor cosmetic work. Definitely worth the price
I love the old ish new ish of this house
Nice home and land. The tree line is an added bonus..
I love this home! That view from the balcony looked so peaceful.
I love this house! It reminds me so much of my parents' old house except they had a four car garage. They loved to entertain and this is clearly a house made for people who love to entertain. I didn't think I would ever see another basement that looked so much like our old basement, I'll have to show my dad this video, he'll love the house, too! Thank you Jonathan!
I love the fact that your parents had a 4 car garage. That's a goal in self.
Absolutely Beautiful property that is worth every penny of the asking price! John I too am a die hard popcorn fan, I literally eat popcorn everyday! IF I could afford that home, I'd be worried about hosting a party and someone being "hidden" somewhere in that home. 🤣 🤣
IMO, it's DEFINITELY worth it!
An intense security system is definitely NEEDED.
Congratulations to you and your wife on your son going to Morgan. 👏👏👏 Love this house.
I love everything about this house! If I were in the position to purchase it I would make just a few changes, but 80% of it would be as is!
Beautiful...A few renovations and upgrades to the bathroom but overall I would buy it if I had a big family
It is definitely worth the money. Love it
First house that seems to be priced fairly! I would definitely buy it.
The porch is amazing
It’s worth it
The primary had so much going on, you missed 1/2 of it. I love this house!!!
The best house you have shown
Beautiful house. I love love this house.
This house is my favorite...buy buy buyyyy immediately
Great breakdown. The property looks well-maintained. It’s interesting to hear your opinion on the asking price. Thanks for sharing.
Nice house, lots of space. It might be worth 2 million.

I love the property..a few alterations..but..worth every dime👏🏾💯😉
This is the best home you've done wish I could afford it I would a few changes.
It’s really big!! And that’s not a bad asking price..
Spectacular view love this property

Worth it. I don’t know that I could figure out what to do with so much space though I would like to try

Like the house; loved the porch. Let us know your appraisal.
I love this house.
Was there an upstairs laundry? You walked past large double doors on the second floor.
Gorgeous property. Just way too much square footage.
Hi Jonathan, I love, love this house! It's worth every penny, I live in Cali and you couldn't get anything like this here.
I said it before SLOW DOWN!!! Because, as usual, you missed some things, like the bedroom on the main floor. We get a glimpse of it at the 3:33 point in the video. Geez! 'As usual' some ppl love to play Monday morning quarterback. You sound miserable
its most def worth the price. You cant get that much home for that price. Its a steal
Gorgeous property
Worth every penny
2.5 I would have listed it for. Amazing!
Looks like Jack Ryan’s house from Patriot Games. The yard is nutts!!!
Overall, a really nice and peaceful house. Got potential. I Think if there supporting column (19:58) was relocated or taken out, could be another bedroom.
Great house for fun living! I do believe the color of the carpet in the primary bedroom is beige.
Beautiful home and yard, but not for me. You'd need a lot more friends than I have to need to live there. I'd be happy to resell it tho. It's gorgeous. I wonder if the people who lived there really needed all those wine coolers -- hummm. Price is right.
❤❤❤❤❤ I wish!!!
Lovely home
Yes!!!
I can get lost in this house but enjoy exploring
I'm so worn down by NY prices I was expecting a higher quote. If one has a larger family they should definitely snap that house up. The few upgrades/renovations needed would be well worth the investment and that would be THE house everyone would want to hang out at.
How are people this rich? That master suite is as big as my whole damn house.
Congratulations to your son Stylist he's in my neck of the woods I'm C/O 2010
Oh that's my dream house I love everything but that brown carpet and the water system it's scares the heck out of but the price is really scary. I guess I'll keep dreaming

I love popcorn, too; and eat one bag a day. Try Lesser Evil; it’s a tasty, healthier brand. (Edited to correct typos.)
Nice! Too big, though :(
Looks like a renovated plantation home to me but that's my opinion and there's just absolutely too much going on. But someone could make it their own with their fabulous Interior Decorator skills
I would like to see more of the back of the property and how it's designed.
Beautiful house on the outside so far. It's too big of a house for me.
I think you missed a bedroom….there is a first floor bedroom, next to the office with the pocket doors
I love the property! However, Defintely need bedrooms updated with the flooring. Remove dated carpet and add new carpet or flooring. Bathrooms need updated as well. It’s a lot of house. Not for me but absolutely for the right family
Before you stated the price, I was like, they're probably asking 2.1 million.
Whew!
Lot of house to get around in, beautiful...but a elevator perhaps would be required! 😊
The house is huge. It has a lot of wasted space and too many doors. I can see a multi-generational family living in this house, but all the rooms with carpet need to be changed, some of those fireplaces need to be removed, and we don't need 4 beverage/wine fridges. Are you a Virgo? Because you are really into detail like me.
The step between the kitchen and the living room is very dangerous: someone is gonna fall off it, not knowing it's there. Awful for older folks, wheelchairs, drunkards.
The acreage alone is worth one million.

Wonder if they had horses?
hey
I’ll will get lost in this house 😂😂
