  • In June 2014 I spent a week in Wales, this is video 5 of that epic Railway Holiday.
    A visit to the Talyllyn Railway and another ride on their fantastic Victorian Train.

    I do have to point out that that's not technically the vintage train as such that Dolgoch is pulling. The vintage train is strictly carriages 1 through 5 (the original stock from before preservation), while this has the Corris saloon and the GVT bugbox, and only 4 of the original 5.
    Still, it's a lovely video

      This is the Victorian Vintage Train service they ran on the day the video was shot. One of the original coaches was out of service so the extra capacity was needed. More recently, this has been called the 'Quarryman's Experience': www.talyllyn.co.uk/experiences/quarrymansexperience

      You know what, I never spotted that plane before! Unfortunately I haven't a clue where it was going to.
