A great video which brings old memories back when as children both my brother and I with our parents back in the 1950's spent our summer holiday staying just down the lane from the crossing outside Minnffordd on Portmaddog side and I helping the lady with the crossing gates apart from taking the train from Portmaddog to the end of the line which in those days was Tanybwlch.CAREY CHESHIRE
a brilliant video i havent watched many narrow gauge railway videos you have converted me into this size railway so many thanks for that the train dident even struggle with all those coaches so they are powerfull little engines a big thumbs up from me max
Nice piece of video. Particularly like "DLG" in it's grey livery, and shame it didn't last too long. Maybe the next new Fairlie will carry the grey for a while
Well, it's quite fitting really. The real David Lloyd George always seems to be grey in every film that I see of him! .....it's OK....I know my own way out....
My favourite seat is hanging out of the window right behind the loco! Thank you, takes me back to my fondest memories.
That was a Great Video!, Cheers to you Mate.
All Aboard. All Aboard. Enjoy the ride.
A Really Useful Railway.
Its a great trip if the weather is fine lovely scenery

May be the locomotive speed is 60 to 70 kmh.Strong and heavy cocomotive.
I am from west Malaysia.
British Preserved railways are limited to 25mph. Not sure if the Ffestiniog has any sections at that speed however.
That train is like mighty Mac from Thomas and friends
Excellent :-)
Why is David Lloyd George grey doh??????
It wasn't long out of the workshops following overhaul at the time.
