In 1st grade there was a girl in a different classroom who brought gum to her classmates for her birthday. I saw her at recess and I said, I’ll be your best friend if you give me some of that gum, she did. First day of 2nd grade she and I were standing in the same line for the same teacher for the same first day of 2nd grade and from that point forward, we were best fucking friends.

I met a girl on the playground in elementary because I complimented her Jean jacket (it was the 1980s) and we geeked out about how cool Jean material clothes were. Then a couple days later. At my house my mom ran a private license day care, my mom wanted me to meet the new girl who would be dropped off about 4/5 am and would be coming into my bedroom to sleep on my bottom bunk before school. So we would get ready for school together, have breakfast, then bus together to the same school. Though I was a grade ahead. And guess who it was. We were instantly like OMG!!! Jean jackets! And we were quickly very good friends for years! I lost contact with her though when I left California for Washington state. I try and find her on social media every so often but I haven't managed to yet. :(

Thomas Lennon is a comedy treasure.
His Joe Exotic was one of the funniest things I've ever seen. It couldn't have come at a better time when it did - fresh off the pandemic and (first) lockdown.
His impression of Joe Exotic was amazing! When the Colbert interview aired, a friend of mine sent me a link to the video thinking it was the real Joe Exotic.
I didn't see it, didn't even know about it, but now I have to find it if possible. I can see how people would be fooled; he looks SO MUCH like him!!

I put those little bags in my electronical parts tool box, and I have used them several times to repair my Holiday lights. I also wind the lights up and put them back in their original boxes. It's like a fun 3D puzzle. You take good care of your lights, even though your wife always buys more every year, and eventually your son can decorate the whole yard and house with holiday lights. And then your son can get them hopelessly tangled when he just throws them all in one box.
That warmed my heart.

I used to pick up a dog across the street from Thomas Lennon's house and drive it 2 hours north to a ranch, like 5 times a week. I would always see Thomas's Tesla outside. Total fangirl moment every time I had to pick the doggo up

Dude. I never even thought about how much he looks like Joe Exotic, and had no idea he played him for a bit on this show. Now I have to find it.
I've never done any tikety-tokities or whatever, but I can say from 40 years' experience in software development: if you think an idea is so dumb and obvious and stupid that you would never waste your time working for the trivial time it would take you to implement it, that is the killer app that will make millions for whoever makes it.
What about a Yelp style app for the restaurant business? I mean like backwards Yelp, where you rate and review the guests.

I rm watching Reno 911 on quibi and being very dissappointed, it was 7 minute youtube videos basically. But this. Reno 911 defunded, much better, its actually funny, if u have Roku, i suggest watching it. If u dont wanna watch all, watch the first ep, thats with Weird Al, and Jonesteenth, the funniest episode.
