@@marcilynn2943 Is this a response to my comment? If it is, I guess I'm not sure what you're talking about. I've been a fan of Taylor's comedy for years, and I'm excited about this show. Commenting that I think her hair and styling are S tier doesn't seem like a comment that would elicit such a heated response. It wasn't meant to objectify her (which, in the age of the internet, complimenting someone's hair seems as mundane as a comment gets). I work in the wedding world, so I love in a world of frequent conversations about hair, makeup, aesthetics, and styling, and I feel like she and her team did a great job here.
The fact that she lost it twice really showed you how genuine her reaction was.
Exactly. I don't know why there are so many comments about her fake laugh on some of the other videos. I think she is really entertained by most of her guests.
The implication that your reaction to the first time she lost it was 'she's just pretending', or that you assumed other people thought that, is deeply, deeply sad.
@@hux2000 its a common vibe some people get from this show - they feel like Taylor should have a talk show and regrets doing this game show and she’s just faking everything because she’s really having a terrible time and should really be doing a talk show. Not my opinion though.

Taylor, doubled over, laughing so hard that she squeeks is adorable! She gets it together to continue hosting, but then, she remembers the DADDY!/Rails bit and loses it a second time.This is pure gold! DADDY THE OSTRICHES ARE SCREAMIN'! That killed me! I have now watched this five times and I have saved it to several playlists in my YT library.
I love at the end when the camera pans out and cuts to black, she comes from behind the podium clutching her stomach because she was laughing so hard lol. We've all been there
I'm going to go out a limb here and guess that the parenting question is something along the lines of, *"how do I get my 10yo to lower his volume and quit riding the rails at ostrich races?"*

It's perfect. I like that the show seems to kinda let go a bit of the stricter gameshow part. Imo that's what makes british panel shows so great. It's comedians having fun first, game show second.

- and then I'll wish them a good day and walk away trying to keep a straight face.

There was a kid in the house behind ours that did that in their yard. Luckily we didn't witness it. We just heard the kid shouting to other kids, with an angry tone: "I'm poopin like a dog!" And a moment later heard the kid shout, "Get me some toilet paper!" Kids. 😮

I think that Rob deserved better for his "inappropriate attire" joke. That was a good one! Took the left turn just where it needed to, and the delivery was totally deadpan. He deserved a better reaction than he got! Better luck next time, Rob!
Rob did great. There is no shame to losing to the Sklar brothers. This panel was epitome of there is no losing on this show if you play it right (unlike, say, Adam Pally)

I'm a Canadian who has lived in the American southwest for the past 20 years. It's this kind of comedy (alone, perhaps) that has kept me at least a half-step short of madness.

@@joshrobinson8360if you look at the TM spin offs for other countries they have their own takes that don't necessarily have the TM being intimidating and it still works. But pretty sure she can be intimidating when she wants to be.
What they do have in common is the TM having some sense of authority. The TM is basically a dungeon master.
She could probably do it but it also seems like way more fun to be a contestant. Of course the chance of getting a US taskmaster is not great with how much a shit show the first attempt was.
@scaredscorpion oh man, I only saw a few bits from the first TM USA and it was atrocious. I felt so bad for how Alex was treated. I would love for us to get a proper redo with the same format as all of the other TMs (the full hour) and with decent comedians. Taylor would be an amazing competitor.

The Sklars really are the Comedian's Comedians. They're just so confident and quick. There's a reason they can get away with having a show that is nothing but giving other comedians tags and people actually show up to it.
