I've just ordered one of these Dough Mixers !!! I have one similar which does not heat up !!!! I like the unheated one because I could leave it overnight to ferment !!!! The heated one will be nice for pizza Dough etc !!!! I have a very expensive Kenwood Breadmaker with a Glass Top and Blue LCD lights on top !!!!! But it makes loaves of bread with a hole in the centre !!!! If you want to make French Bread then you don't want any heat. Then you get small and large holes, which British Bakers would call inferior Bread, but it tastes Fantastic !!!! The only way to have nice Bread is to make it Yourself !!!! But I don't always want a loaf of Bread !!! And the Dough Maker is much Easier to fill up with Flour having a much larger Bowl !!!!
Mine is holding up well. I remove the mixing paddle and oil the door before starting the fermenting cycle. It mixes the dough really well. I have used it with six cups of flour for bread or two one and a half pound loaves.
Yeah, I can definitely feel the heat. It’s not really hot, more of a warm and safe to touch heat. I can somewhat feel it on the outside, but if I touch the inside bottom of the bowl, it’s much hotter. I want to say when I measured it with my laser thermometer it was around 80°F.
@@RodrickViews I don't see any way it can be heating. I was wondering if the heat wasn't just coming from the dough itself and being in a closed container helps hold in the warmth.
Have you (or anyone) tried to make in this machine really stiff doughs (such as bagels), really wet doughs, or really enriched doughs (like brioche)? What were the results? Thanks.
great video, and review. what's that little oven you cooked that pizza in called. pizza looked tasty too. And how did this machine compare to stand alone mixer. Trying to decide what to get my mother thx.
Thanks! The pizza oven is the one featured in this video: ruclips.net/video/hMK1hBS4eWA/видео.html It’s actually really good for cooking pizzas inside! I do like this mixer better because it’s air tight to prevent the dough from drying and forming a skin, as well as being heated to make it rise faster. I’d say it’s worth getting!
@@RodrickViews I’m Totally with you on this one. I posted a few weeks ago that mines had just arrived and it has been the best investment I have made. I’m having a painful problem to the right side of my neck and shoulder making needing tricky but this has been a godsend
Probably does a better job than most domestic stand mixers which are often not great with wetter doughs and are quite sensitive to quantity. Does seem like it might not last long given that gear noise though.
Good to hear. How large and how small of a batch of pizza dough can it do? What is the highest hydration you have done with it.? Thanks in advance and thanks for the vid
I’m so happy I found a video about a kneading machine. People like you are the best

Mines just arrived today and I’m really excited to try it out 😊

Thanks for the tip! I’m still using mine as well and loving the results for large batches! 🥖🍕
I'm looking to get something like this for making pizza dough for my new pizza oven, does this come with pizza dough recipes?
how do you determine its 15 mins for dough and 45 mins for ferment?
Great review! Question. Do you think it really heats up during fermenting? I’m wondering if mine is faulty.

@@RodrickViews wow I really appreciate your thorough answer. Appreciated!

@@jeremycatches9766 it definitely heats up and to the perfect temp for proofing the dough

My bread maker mixes twice to remove air bubbles. Does this one mix the dough a second time around an hour or so later?
This is just a mixer. You can start it again if you want manually.
Does it really heat up or is it just a timer?
Yes it gets warm

Can i use the machine to make sourdough bread ?
Can this mixer hold 10 cups of flour for bread?
It will take up to 2.3kg of ingredients.

I’ve been using it twice a week for pizza dough since I got it and it’s still working fine.

stand mixers are OK with wet dough, they die on low hydration dough like bagel dough.
Keep up the awesome videos 💕
Thank you for sharing! Any chance to have your pizza recipe as well? 🤣
Anything quieter with a ferment option 😅
Can you please share your pizza dough recipe?
Hello you think this is good for making donuts?
