- This 2023 Platinum Super Duty leveled on a Carli Suspension Pintop system with 39" BFG tires is a seriously capable and clean build. This truck started as a bone stock Platinum Tremor, but the owner wanted more capability and comfort so we installed a Carli Suspension Pintop level system. Options wise we added a Carli torsion sway bar, high mount steering stabilizer, radius arms, and full replacement leaf packs with shackles. We also added full travel airbags to make sure that the owner could tow and haul as needed despite the soft ride rear leaf packs.
For wheels and tires, we added 17" KMC Impact Forged true beadlock wheels with 39" BFG KM3 39" tires.

You know, I wasn't sold on the updated Super Duty front end, but the more CJC trucks I see, the more I reconsider. That's a sharp looking truck! Awesome work as always, guys!
growing on me too. they look way better leveled with tires and the tremor valance/chin spoiler thing. the previous years, 20-22 were my favorite
I feel the same way.
This would be perfect, in my opinion, if this truck had the 8' bed
yup 3500 with 8' bed
Long bed trucks are gay bro!
By far this is the best 23 out there! There will definitely be copies made!
Much respect for talking about tire load rating as this was the first thing I noticed when I saw the build. Good job guys. I still love my 4.5” pintop on my 2020 f250. Thanks.
Defiantly a topic worth covering, especially with these tires!
I have the same tires on my diesel gladiator. Love em
Finally a truck without KFC bucket wheels sticking out. Love the stance with more tire than rims. 👍🏻
Great looking truck. Probably with a 100k+ price tag.
Exactly how this truck should be!
Endless money pit. I’m impressed.
finally something without the same method wheels...gorgeous truck!
Holy smokes, 39's now 😂
39s might be the new 37 😮
wow that thing looks really nice
Truck is absolutely gorgeous 😍, i have a '22 and once these new tires I put on wear out ill be doing most likely the same kit. Wish I had a '23 but I do love my '22 as well.
Great looking truck! Can you do a comparison video showing the Carli e venture and liquid springs?? Thanks
They are VERY different products. Liquid springs are more set up for trucks doing lots of hauling, highway and some basic dirt roads. The Eventure is a true performance off road suspension system. The Eventure is far more capable off road than the Liquid Spring system but they each have their place.
This looks great!!
One day one day
Nice!!
Does the tires rub with flexing the machine? Rub at full lock left or right with the suspension flexed?
Nope! It clears fully with the proper trimming.
Can you do a comparison showing carli e venture and carli pintop?thanks
We can! To keep it simple, the E-venture does everything the pintop does, but better. It's the smoothest system we offer from any brand.
Well done. 🦍💪👍
Have you found a steering setup that actually gives an HD with a solid axle minimal steering play and no wander? Never been impressed going down the road with a solid axle truck. Driven hd trucks from early 2000s to new.
The new factory adaptive steering systems on Ford and Ram trucks are a game changer. Pair that with a quality track bar and steering linkage, and you have the best steering possible on a solid axle truck.
I love this truck. I have a 23 f350 and would love this done to it. How much would it cost to bring it to you?
Please shoot us an email to sales@cjcoffroad.com so we can help.
Love the look. What is the payload loss of the truck with this lift+full set of tires and wheels? Also did the brakes need to be tweaked to handle this performance wise and when carrying loads? And loads would require E+ tire rating as well. I have been reading that such changes like these, your insurance will need to be notified and get approvals from them, or you could be in trouble if any problems arise.
Notified about?
Sorry for any confusion. What I mean, only from reading and from other youtube videos, that with any lift and large tire set ups, is that insurance is to be notified as that will drastically alter the the trucks performance and towing. And to get confirmation that insurance is simply good with the changes.@@freethinkingamerican80
@@slingerland3g that's probably the legal way of going about it, no one does though. For a multitude of reasons I'd imagine. Bet 99.9999999999% don't say anything to their insurance co
I am totally new to lifting, and I love the looks that it gives. I just would hate to lose any towing capabilities and I do want to be safe for sure.@@freethinkingamerican80
This truck can tow at factory payload and towing specs thanks to the use of the airbag kit we installed which supplements the capacity normally lost with the softer rear leaf packs. While the customer went with a lower load tire, there's lots of towing friendly tire options. Since these trucks have MASSIVE brakes for towing, they really don't mind a little larger tire. As for insurance, that comes down to your exact provider and how you want the accessories to be covered. If you want aftermarket parts to be covered and replaced in a claim, ideally they should be notified.
Anodized black wheels? Every part that I’ve had that’s anodized fades to like a purple…. Even the Carly sway bar mounts.
Stock gears?
If they are they probably shouldn’t be
Yes since these 10 speed transmissions are able to adapt shift points quite well to larger tires so there's really no need to re-gear.
Do yall re gear any of these trucks with 37’s or bigger tires? I’m worried about my 68rfe and 37” tires. Lol
My 07 5.9 with 37's runs on stock 373's runs perfect I think your good
@@ricklp1861 yeah that’s what I got 3.73’s. I hear even some people using 37’s on 3.42’s
If you have 3.73 gears you're good to go. If you have stock 3.42 gears you may want to consider a re-gear depending on usage. That said, our shop 4th gen logged over 100k miles towing and off roading on 37s with stock 3.42 gears and 37s!
@@CJCOffRoad good deal thanks! I don’t tow much and when I do it’s a 6000 pound boat in the summer. It’s also not a daily driver. So everything should be fine!
Is it still worth buying a Tremor if you’re gonna do a Carli level or lift? I’m not sure it is.
Yes, since the Tremor suspension isn't special. It's all the other things like the extra waterproofing, limited slip front diff, better gear ratios, side steps, etc that make the Tremor worth it.
Why Ford does not allow the Black Appearance Package on the Platinum is nuts. Anyone know why?
As a licensed Mechanical Engineer ignore the Load Range and focus on the actual numerical value the tire can hold. Take in mind the engineers who arrived at the stated value did so conservatively. The tire has some forgiveness to it.
We have no idea why they won't offer a blackout Platinum, but we have a hunch it may happen later in the life cycle of the 23+ trucks.
where did you get those wheelsflares ?
I got bushwackers look oem
I think it's pretty gay that ford got rid of the flares! Yet this guy has them...how? Maybe ordered the 2022's for it from m the factory?
They're factory flares. It's apart of the Tremor package.
With it being a platinum, did it have the self leveling headlamp option and did you run into any issues with that?
it did. We used these brackets to disconnect the sensors: www.cjcoffroad.com/products/ford-super-duty-load-sensor-brackets?_pos=1&_sid=2493101d7&_ss=r
Would those 39s be an issue for the 7.3 Godzilla with the 4.30 gears?
I prefer king kong!😂
Zero issues. I’ve built 3 SD’s with the V10 and 4.30’s. I did install speed correction modules to get the speedo, trans shifting, etc, back to the way they should be. I did run one of those up to 100mph and it was effortless. The Godzilla is in another world from the old V10. With all the emissions issues with modern diesels, a 7.3 and 4.30’s is how I’d build mine, today.
@@ducnutthank you! I wonder if there are any issues with the fitment of 17s on the new super duty’s…I’ve heard there isn’t much clearance however I don’t see a good way to get the larger tires otherwise.
@@tylerwilliams9664 I saw the mention of clearance issues. I’m not sure which wheels will have problems. CJC would be the ones to ask, since they have wheels in stock and would be able to dry fit them to create a database.
Forged wheels should provide more clearance than cast wheels. The biggest thing with tight caliper clearance is it means stick-on weights, inside the barrel, will be problematic or not an option at all. Hopefully, you have an awesome tire shop who understand what you’re wanting to do and are competent enough to make it happen.
I failed to previously mention, with the V10 and 4.30’s, tire sizes were 33’s, 35’s, 37’s, and 38’s. 37’s are what I ran up to 100mph. The truck with 38’s would’ve easily done it, as well. I had input on all of them, when they were ordered, so that’s how they all ended up with 4.30 gears.
17s are VERY tight so we usually prefer 18s. So far we've confirmed non HD Method wheels will just clear, and these KMC forged wheels will also clear.
Fender Flares????
Omg and how bad did you guys have to butcher the wheel wells out?
It's actually surprisingly little trimming. You wouldn't even know the truck was trimmed.
@@CJCOffRoad you guys are the reason why I spend money 🤣
How much are these black finned kings?
Here's the pricing on the system with and without finned reservoirs: www.cjcoffroad.com/collections/2017-f250-f350/products/carli-2017-ford-super-duty-pintop-2-5-2-5-lift-suspension-system
@@CJCOffRoad they don’t make them for rams?
We can do them for Ram too. You commented on a Ford video so we just assumed!
@@CJCOffRoad I was looking on the website and only seen that option for the fords was like dang no love for the rams
How much is this complete setup
All of your money.
Probably wanna regear that thing with 39s
It's actually interesting but these 23+ Fords are a whole different game. We've never seen a transmission so able to re-learn shift points based on tire size changes, but it's a true game changer. So far we've seen no reason to re-gear with larger tires on these 10 speed Fords as they just learn and alter shift points accordingly.
@@CJCOffRoad Maybe. I don't have a truck with the new 10spd, yet, but I have been through several previous transmissions on lifted trucks (luckily covered under warranty by Ford) so I would do it anyways for my own peace of mind for longevity. The less every other component down the line has to work to move the better.
39s that measure 38s aren't 39s but other than that sweet setup
Tell that to bfg…
@@Bmxr1991 I guess these days it's more about what you identify as 😄 🤣
@@fergotti hahaha you ain’t lying!
And the vast majority of 33's are just over 32, most 37's are just over 36 etc. I loved my old Parnelli Jones Dirt Grips. The 38's were actually over 38 which would have made them 39's to all the other brands.
Contractor buys truck to daily and pull a trailer every couple months 😂😂😂 just buy a fucking gas truck
Looks ridiculous. It’s a pickup truck not BIGFOOT.
