It was absolutely awesome. The music, the wild styles, MTV (with M), and no pronoun wars, social media -and cell phone were mostly car phones. Not slagging off on tech, but the 80’s (and much of the 90’s) were positively eurphoic. Everyone I knew had unchecked optimism.
Loved it…life changing TV series. With a soundtrack for real life. Show ended at 9:45 pm, then grabbing keys, heading out, rolling the windows down and off to where the ladies gather. Dressed in Sonny fashion. That’s impact!
