- Since sous vide cooks steaks to perfection, does a $10 or $70 steak has much differences when cooked sous vide and turned into a sandwich. Will we be able to tell the differences? So, the third ingredient in the first sauce is called Kecap Manis. It’s an Indonesian sauce. But it sounds so much like he’s saying “Ketchup-mayonnaise”. That threw me off for a second!

Usually I put more seasonings on my steaks, but yesterday, I finally decided to try a steak with just those three and... my god. It's really that good.
Thats when he wants to be fancy on other vids with higher quality meat he doesn’t add garlic powder cause it masks the flavor of the meat. Salt and pepper only for the high grade stuff

Made this yesterday, so good! I used a cheaper choice new york strip. $3.99/lb turned out so soft seared it with my searzall. I used garlic texas toast from the frozen section. And I couldn't find the sweet soy sauce but I have made it before "eel sauce" for sushi. Turned out amazing.

small tipps for even better caramelised onions.
Add some butter to the oil. The oil prevents the molten butter from burning but you still get that nice nutty flavor brown butter has.
Also just a pinch of sugar aids the caramelisation for even more browning.
After watching a lot of your videos I started to have Pavlov's dog reflex when I hear the "assembly" song in your video. My mouth starts salivating the second I hear it and I do not even have to see what is on the video :D

made this out of some cheaper sirloin steaks tonight! couldnt make your sauce so I made a garlic cream sauce from the bag juices instead. Had to sub out the bread for keto friendly bread which unfortunately overpowered the other flavors a bit, but all in all still a great dinner!

I saw a paper about mixing a small amount of ground up pellicose from dry aging with ground beef to make a tastier burger. You guys should try it out, also could reduce some of the waste that comes with dry aging

Hi guga that looks nice man! Perfect dinner after a long day fishing! Only thats the probleem the coocking time😬 what you recomment? Doing it the day before and reheat the steak. Or put it in the water an acces it by wifi and let the meat in the warming water, its add maybe 15-30 min of the cooking time right?
