In this video Ireact to Megadeth - The conjuring.
This video was all kinds of aweomse. I love it when megadeth jumps into the dark end of the spectrum and makes music about the occult and fantasy themes.
That albums a masterpiece. Your getting closer to the gems.... Black Friday,. my last words.... Devil's island. 🤟
the conjuring is the best song on the album to me
@@smitty1647 my last words stands out a little more to me
Most everyone Hypes Peace Sells and Rust in peace as Megadeth's best albums , I'm not hating on anyone's opinion , My personal favorites are
1-So far so good so what
2-World needs a hero
3-Endgame
4-Rust in peace
5-Countdown to Extinction
6-Cryptic Writings
7-13
8-Peace Sells but who's buying
9-Risk
10-United Abominations
Bad omen

That whole album is a masterpiece!
Damn straight!
All of them!
I agree!🤘🤘🤘
100%
now a remasterpiece
There's no fat on none of the albums till you pass the youthanasia album
Another good song from this album is “my last words”. Extremely underrated
Kaidin aah absolutely! That song rips man!
Yes, bass kicks and the single guitar solo is amazing. Dude, if you truly love Megadeth listen to this song
Hell yes! It's one of my top three favorite songs on this album along with Wake Up Dead and The Conjuring.
Congratulations to Dave Mustaine for being declared 100% cancer free! Great news
No one can really properly replicate Chris Poland’s solos either. He has such a unique way of playing that even the best players that succeeded him admit his shit is hardest to replicate. If you listen to keyboardist Jan Hamer from Mahivishnu Orchestra you will hear where Chris got much of his style from. The odd note bending is a product of him learning from Jan Hamers solos, a style not natural from a guitar perspective. Chris will always be my favorite guitar player in Megadeth...
It's hard to say who's better technically, him or Marty...I'd almost say Chris Poland might be the better player. Marty's exotic style is very easy on the ears and is great, but Chris might be more of a fluid player. I could go on all day about the guitar playing in MD.
@@NS1. add Gar’s drumming and honestly I think it’s the best lineup they ever had. Everyone likes Menza and I do as well but I think Gar is a way more prolific player
Part of it comes from a hand injury Chris Poland suffered as a kid. It left him with the ability to stretch one finger farther than usual.
6:55 That laugh should've been in the original song.
Oh, I see many people recommending other songs of the album, which are all masterpieces. But people are not even suggesting Bad Omen of this album? Wow that's a very underrated gem.
Oh hellyeah another one!
One of my top 3!
killer bass
My favourite solo
You’re absolutely right - nobody can cover Megadeth.
In my opinion, nobody can match Mustaine’s intensity, both vocally and on guitar.
Agree, he's the greatest metal guitar player of all time, with Dime & would be glad to fistfight anyone to prove both are! 😆
David A. Fye II Hard. to dispute either of those claims.....
@@bill_y4762
Any metalhead guitarist knows that Dime & Dave's music, mainly leads are untouchable.
I can prove it?!
How many cover bands out there do you see ever trying to cover a MegADetH or PanterA song...JUST 1?! 😱
Exxxxxxactly! 😉
David A. Fye II As far as metal those guys are pretty far ahead. I actually think megadeth has had 3 of the best metal guitarists. Mustaine, freedman and now Kiko, although kiko is basically an all around musician. Dimebag was a totally unique talent as well. Basically at that level its just depends on what type of music you like. I think Buckethead is pretty damn good and unique, or John Petrucci.... but at that point no longer strictly metal.
@@bill_y4762
Chris Poland was no slouch on the guitar either, just physically. 😆
It's funny because Dave ended up coming up with that vocal style because he WASN'T a singer. But it became his thing and it's worked for him pretty well.
"Welcome to our sanguinary sect of worship, feel at home in our black convecticle, as we anathematize all those who oppose us, don't summon the devil, don't call the priest, if you need the strength the conjuring...."
What other band wrote lyrics like that ? Not even Slayer ! Those are the most bad ass opening lyrics to any song in metal least of all just in Thrash !!!
Mercyful Fate- Don't Break the Oath. Deicide Deicide. Venom. Same time period.
Not to mention Dave was only like 25 at the time.
Death and chuck was 17-18 when he wrote Scream Bloody Gore and later Leprosy
Dave Mustaine was involved in the occult during that period of his life. He was dealing out curses and all sorts of tripe!
@@shaunsmith7651 He also will never play that song live again because he says it has real incantations in it.
Uncharacteristically coherent for a band of addicts... glad they pulled it together.... their bass player doesn’t get enough credit for being the glue in the band ...as a bass player but also as an intermediary between members...
I agree I’m sure Dave elfsons been thru a lot
I wouldn't want anybody singing Dave's vocals it's just raw and good wouldn't change a thing about Dave's voice anything
"My Last Words" Same Album
Great Reaction on this...🤟
I love that you said that! Nobody, absolutely nobody could duplicate this, or his style period! Mad respect bro, thank you
Dude, I always check RUclips for megadeth covers. Some bands may play like megadeth but no one sounds like Dave.
The one that started it all for me! Love your reviews man! You make me feel like I’m listening to these for the first time again! I remember as a 10 year old back in 86/87 playing this on loop on my “ghetto blaster” for the whole neighborhood to hear! What a lucky 🍀 bunch of people they were, I tell ya! Ha!
The guitarist going "ohh eeeohh" has always been my favorite.
No one's like Mustaine 100% correct, loving Megadeth!

Good Mourning/ Black Friday must be next 🤘😎🤘
yes thanks for doing this one glad you enjoyed amazing album got it as a Christmas gift when I was 14yrs old....gonna be 48 next week still listening to it
There are like 5 of the best guitar riffs in this song alone.
Dave is the clint Eastwood of metal
Great review man. Good stuff. Like your emotion and analytics both. Running both at the same time. Great review technique 👍
Wow it's about time you did the conjuring !!!
You're so right about Dave's singing style. So unique.
its been years since I've listened to megadeth but they have a special place in my history as a music lover and musician. this album slays brother
Drugs are a hell of a drug 🤘
I'm happy to watch you discover what I feel blessed to have grown up on - a steady diet of Megadeth, and Metallica, and other greats. This era is unmatched...
You should watch VH1 behind the music of MegadetH, freaking brutal.
I've only just seen there is an updated version from when I brought the DVD when it came out . Has an extra 20 mins and runs into the next few albums
@@denisonphillips4338 Ok cool thanks, didn't know there was an updated version. I'll look at for it.
Me either till about 3 days ago. I was showing a mate it's pretty cool. I hope they update it again for the last albums
@@denisonphillips4338 Yes I'll hold out to see if they do another updated version then. Thanks for the info mate.
Yeah, Dave went through a lot of bullshit growing up from his dad!
I'm just glad he's back to being a Christian again & had changed his life!
Have you seen what his daughter Elektra looks like now she's a woman? 😍👀
She's smoking hot! 😘
And his son Justice, is an armed patriot that loves guns! 👊🏻🇺🇸
God this song takes me back to being a kid. Loved Megadeth by the time I was like 11.
Peace Sells and Rust In Peace, and probably some others are just masterpieces from the first to last note on the albums. You have discovered a new world of Megadeth, 100+ amazing songs with hours of peer-less music.
ur reactions and ur ear are freakin awesome !!!!
It’s the same with Axl Rose, nobody can duplicate it..
Back in 1988 Axl Rose came up to Dave and told him that he was really inspired by Daves singing style..
That says a lot when you think about it.. This was during the Donington show in 1988 there’s a famous photo to go along with it of Dave, Lars, Slash, Axl together..
Slash said of Dave that he was the coolest guy to write and come up with ideas around and they used to riff and play with each other a little back in those days when they bumped into each other on tour.
All true. Notably also are the guitarists Dave chose being cream-of-crop talented musicians as well as those who were chosen but had to turn down the opportunity due to certain obligations such as Jeff Waters, Dimenag Darrell, Jeff Loomis, and Kerry King (briefly).
YES FINALLY THIS IS A MASTER piece of music
Constructive feedback...I love your reaction videos, but even more because you let the whole song play through without pausing 🙌
That was an awesome review.
I never heard this version.
Dave censored the word "centralize."
Lol, so much for not being superstitious.
noticed that too. like i stated in my previous comment, i have not listened to old megadeath in years. i have not heard the remastered versions either
Great song and as always great reaction to one of the best off the album 🎸🤘🤘🤘
Finally! Now do Good Mourning/Black Friday, original version!
Nice reaction, I agree with almost everything you said, Dave's voice indeed is inimitable. Peace
To play with this intensity, to write songs this sharp, Megadeth is second to none... And dude, chilling down NOLA. Did my 10hrs Lyfting here! My new routine, get home, cold corona, that dank, and watching your videos.
Your absolutely right! Nobody can make a vocal cover and sound good 😂 ...Dave is a Master and everybody who is saying something else doesn’t know what he is talking 😁🤘🤘
It was about a Hex he put on someone. You should read his Autobiography, it is HILARIOUS and very informative
I like how when Mustaine sings this live, he sometimes says "then conjure me" instead of "the conjuring" hehe
Dave does not mess with this song anymore. He changed his ways... From Satan to Jesus.
Great reaction man! Check out Washington is Next! That’s a great song! Keep up the great work man
Dave actually stopped playing the song live for a long time then played it without singing for a while because it supposedly includes instructions for a hex in the part when he talks about the parchment paper and shit because he was in witchcraft when he was young
I love your reactions men.
Aguante megadeth Geniooooo..... desde Argentina
this song is so fucking hard bro... the drums the bass line and it goes without saying the guitar riffs and that solo a minute and a half or so in the song... feels like its never ending. a fucking metal masterpiece. wish i was around in the 80s-90s to see this live. apparently dave doesnt play this anymore because of his religious beliefs.
Part of me would like to hear a remake of this song where there's a change in the lyrics to tell some tales of Ed & Lorraine Warren...
Maybe get some mention of Annabelle, Bathsheba, the Nun Valak, etc in there too, lol.
Roy Orbison is underrated
You got it
Omg looking down the cross
I wore out my cassette copy of Peace Sells the same week my copy of Practice what you Preach by Testament broke, man that sucked.
Still like this more than Rust in Peace because of Gar And Chris. The jazzy style on this album is elite
RIP is more exotic sounding but this album is dark, gritty and jazzy! This and RIP just can't be beat
Still working my way down the Megadeth Playlist rabbit hole. I didn't realize I missed so many over the past few months. I tend to like the remasters, less noise and more crisp. Megadeth didn't play this song live for many years after Mustaine found god. But they do it live now. Nice tune... I have one Megadeth cover I must recommend. Tigertailz - Peace Sellz. I don't know if it's good or bad, but I like it. Maybe it's like a dumpster fire that you have to watch, but I think it's great! Also, check out Megaded - A Tribute To Megadeth cd. Interesting takes by various artists on Megadeth Classics. Peace!
5:02...my favorite guitar tone of all time! That thick full body Washburn guitar🤘🤘🤘 just fuckin sick
It's a BC Rich.
Super classic song very underrated .
NOW Look for Annihilator-Welcome to your death.
And Annihilator-Alison hell.
Studio versions.
Sinister tune that Mustaine claims not to perform anymore.
I matched 'Rust in Piece' with 'Ghostbusters' 1 and 2.
More than meets the Eye
Absolutely ripping song. Great transitions. My last words is awesome.
Great reaction please listen these boots - megadeth
Dave mustaine is a musical god
Dave tells a story where he was smoking crack with Slash and Rick James.
Hahahahaha..... I gotta hear this story
Whaaat? 😆
When bro?
Dave was to intense, he didn't need no crack to be amped up & Slash? 😄
I always loved ol Slash man, one of the coolest guitarist ever & they was thrown out of my state of Indiana once. 😂

Oh man I have to find that? 😆
Ya I'm 32 this year and just decided to put back some Megadeth into my life since last I played them was over 10 years ago ... I'm getting old lol. And those guys fucking Rock !! I feel like I'm 16 again hahaha
I'm 46 and still listen to them, Metallica ,Slayer .... Besides Pantera there really hasn't been no real kickass metal since them... Some good guitar work for sure but the singers sound like the cookie monster
The conjuring is a bad ass track now do set the world fire
The song Promise by Megadeth
I'm really not a fan of remasters. There's something inherent in the originals that's lost in the remasters.
I agree.
The Remaster really sound bad compared to the originals..
The 'Peace Sells' remaster is cleaner than the original. As much as I like hearing Gar and Junior better, the lo-fi "fog" in the original really adds to the atmosphere of the album. The original 'Peace Sells' just feels so ominous and oppressing.
Agree, the originals are the masterpieces because they're recorded raw & never spliced or re-edited.
it sounds remixed too. vocals are way too loud now.
dude loving your megadeth reactions. if you're looking for a song that is a shift in pace but still packs the political punch, check out "Have cool will travel". If its not a comment i don't know what is.
back in 1991 i seen then with slayer and anthrax ad dave was behind the drum kit having a beer and his voice was sing on stage still lp syncing or what
You gotta listen to Megadeth - Peace sells but who's buying? (remastered version)
from the same Album.
For this song, Megadeth was Ghost before Ghost.
This album is so sinister. You should listen to Devils Island and Good Mourning/Black Friday
You should listen to "my last word" from the same album, amazing and fun song, and Metallica's Lars favorite song.
You should check out WAKE UP DEAD. Absolute Master piece.
In my opinion Peace Sells but Who's Buying is the best Megadeth album, by the way the song Devils Island on this album is one of my favorite Megadeth songs, hopefully you can do a reaction of that song too
This album was my theme song for my senior year,.....went through 3 cassettes! OK, so restricting my suggestions to this album , let it be My Last Words. Who wants to play Russian roulette with one, then two, then three bullets?
This was when Dave was into Black Magic, he was seriously into the dark Satanic side then year's later became a born again Christian as he is to present day!
@Geralt Of Rivia I'm also glad he beat Throat Cancer, as I was when Bruce Dickinson did we need these Metal Icons to stick around! 😉🤙🤘
@D M except he put it back on the set list in 2018
The lyrics to the song literally contain a spell to conjur the Devil.
Devil's island!!!
Funny comment (RE: Liar) -- "Dave's cursing somebody out -- must be Metallica".. that was great.
Megadeth - Chosen one’s is also a very good one
Really groovy. Bit boring tho, at least for megadeth.
Yeah this song basically gives you the ritual to conjure Lucifer.
Now check out good mourning/Black Friday, my last words, bad omen, and peace sells. You should also check out there first album "killing is my business".
Oh yeah they're technical alright
The thing which is so fascinating is Mustaine did not had any formal music training and to write music like this he must be possessed or something
owwwwwwwwww !!!!!
Ashes In Your Mouth (Countdown To Extinction) and My Last Words (Peace Sells) 🤘🔥🤘 ...don’t think about it just do it (ps I am the biggest Megadeth fan so trust me)
metal is and always has been about aggression. wait, let me elaborate. these days aggression means violent. i'm talking about the old definition of the word, which is much closer to "energetic intensity". metal is about being energetically intense, and NO ONE embodies that more than megadeth. you're not "appreciating" metal, you're ENJOYING it, there is a world of difference. welcome to the tribe brother. we are many colors and genders and creeds, but we are all the same. i like you, subscribed.
He refused to play that song live for decades. I think last year was the first time he agreed to Play It Again. When he wrote it? He meant it LOL
Chris Poland has done purely instrumental albums on his own- check out his first cd “Return to Metalopolis”. If you like instrumentals- you’ll love this!
TopGun Twin that Chris Poland Good solo intro is one of the greatest things played on 6 strings
whatever sounds better has no rivals haha owwwwww !!!!!
how is possible to monetize this? can someone explain me?
You can't. All monies go to the original music creators. Most reactors get zero dollars for their videos. If you want to monetize ask for donations.
Remastered just means louder, not better.
If it's any interest, I have a full band cover of this song on my channel!
Please do Ashes in your mouth and Architecture of aggression!!!!!!!!
In a interview Lars said he really liked this album and didnt tell James he had the album because he would have freaked out...lol
Too bad I didn't get more Megadeth recordings of my karaoke days, cos I managed to do a fairly decent Mustaine back in the day. I guess there's nothing stopping me now from putting something together what with the internet and a lot more metal in instrumental & karaoke versions... save for one thing : I don't have a camera for the PC, lol. I could just to the audio but then the haters and Megadeth purists will come out of the woodwork saying that aint me or I sound like shit, lol. It happened with my TON videos... TON fans can be pretty devout though, very easily triggered if anyone or anything tries to sacrilege the band or their god, "St Petrus" (Peter Steele), lol. I also do his voice decently too... probably better than my Mustaine.
Have you been directed to any Type O Negative yet? They're a 90s goth/doom metal band but it's amazing stuff. You could get a preview of their roots with the late-80s stuff from Steele's band prior to TON, a band called Carnivore - thrash, speed, grindcore shit. A huge contrast to TON.
Hahahahaha…. Dude you are so right. Megadeth fans are ruthless. But I’m not gonna scout the internet for megadeth covers. An yes, I have checked out some type o on stream. I considered them vampire metal.

I didn't think of it sooner, but speaking of Megadeth and covers, you might enjoy the covers Megadeth did.
A few appeared on their albums :
- These Boots (Nancy Sinatra) from Killing Is My Business... And Business Is Good
- I Aint Superstitous (Howlin' Wolf) from Peace Sells... But Who's Buying
- Anarchy In The UK (Sex Pistols) from So Far So Good... So What
Others only appeared on movie soundtracks and tribute compilations, but these were later compiled onto an EP called Hidden Treasures (which has since expanded to include more rare tracks) .
These covers includ e :
- No More Mr Nice Guy (Alice Cooper) from the Shocker soundtrack
- Paranoid (Black Sabbath) from the Nativity In Black Tribute to Black Sabbath compilation
- Problems (Sex Pistols) from the band's À Tout Le Monde single
Paranoid is great! Check that one out!
Still like the original production over any of the remasters.
