Even if you sit in economy and ur flying with SIA, they still treat you well. As a person who flew with Singapore on a 787 from SIN to Osaka, I can confirm this
I flew Singapore Airlines First Class from Frankfurt to JFK in early August. They unfortunately took the A380 off of that route so I flew on their 777-300 ER. It still was the best flight I’ve ever taken. Service was flawless.

I flew several times economy class with Singapore airlines and I find it the best, airport, airplanes, stuff, everything.

I watch other channels that don't necessarily take this kind of service for granted, but they're more critical (when warranted) - I think I prefer Nicky's wide-eyed enthusiasm about the whole thing, as that's absolutely how I'd be if I had the money to fly this way.

somehow, non-White English speakers need to have subtitles for white audiences to understand them. Actually, it goes both ways - we (non-White people) need to have the closed caption enabled when watching movies especially to really see what Brits or Americans are saying. 😁

I flew on Singapore Airlines A380 Suites many times between Singapore and Mumbai routes and a few times to Frankfurt. It offers an unparalleled experience of luxury and privacy. Every moment I spent in it was truly enjoyable.

I've never flew Singapore but its one of the airlines on my bucket list. We do the shuttle service picking them up from the airport to the hotel and they are so adorable and very polite.
For business class you have to try Qatar QSuites and Singapore airlines
For first class Singapore airlines and Etihad

I did finish my list of their current first class seats, both A380 and 777. The only difference is seat, other than that nothing to complain. It would be perfect for pamper yourself and you will never forget about it.

1:21 What do you count as suites? Emirates have had their suites, the same as found on the A380 today, since 2003 when they were first introduced on their A340-500s.

I’m looking into doing Suites in June when I fly from Singapore to London for a work trip. My company will pay for business, so I’m just going to top up! I figured the Singapore London direct flight would be the best leg to experience Suites from the lounge to the catering on board.

Fly with the host is flying the airline of the country you are planing to land on. Ex: London to NY then take American Airlines, San Fransisco to Madrid take Iberia… and so on

Nice video. I used the LHR T2 Singapore Airlines business lounge last year and it was frankly disappointing. Perhaps their first lounge is better.
Haha, I could understand Connie just fine without subtitles. Nicky though swallows his words at the ends of sentences, and I had a hard time understanding a few times, including when he said: airplane mode. Nice video.

I feel that the SQ training that requires cabin crew to be in a kneeling posture when speaking to passengers is rather archaic.
It certainly is not compulsory. And kneeling down allows both parties to speak softly without having to shout and disturb other passengers, so it is much appreciated by everyone. This is not done to appear submissive.

Tbf, not a lot of people could easily understand Asian accents especially the thickest ones. Plus there's the plane noise in the background.

Connie knew there was a camera, so she was on her best etiquette. I wonder how they behave when there is not a camera in their face.
The best thing about Singapore Airlines is the consistency of their service procedures... whether there's a camera in front of them or not.
They usually behave even better without a camera in their faces. Far more natural and warm. Not every FA is comfortable with a camera watching their every move, even though SQ's FAs are highly professional.

It of course looks absolutely fantastic. However I have a criticism. These lounges, just how much time do you spend at the airport to justify this? So much work into something that I don't feel is necessary. When I fly, I get there a couple hours before, go through security and with what time is left, I can't truly relax before boarding. Is it not just, perhaps greed and a novelty more than practical or sensible? Everyone has their own taste, opinion and I mean no insult but isn't this all just, too much, too silly and unjustifiably expensive for what's effectively a flight to a destination. You arrive at the same time as everyone on economy, people in economy could pay for airport food and legroom and have enough change left over to adequately relax and then some vs what that lounge and suit cost....
Sometimes that is the case but very often, and especially for an airline like Singapore, many passengers are in transit and could be for many hours. If you’ve just come off a 14 hour flight and have another 10 hour flight ahead, you are likely to make decisions based on what those 4 or 5 hours on the ground will look like. Beds, showers make a huge difference. For short haul flights, your time in the lounge may be longer than what you spend on board, and that might be the place you need to eat, work, take calls, before jumping on your short flight. I hear you, but just a different perspective here!
I absolutely appreciate that perspective. It's just an alien concept to me. I ask myself even if I had all the money in the world if that's the way I'd travel and I still don't know if it's a yes. I'm trying to see it from different perspectives and at the end of the day it is down to individual tastes and needs. I enjoyed the video and the channel is great. Just some thoughts I had and I hope doesn't offend anyone.
Having a lounge like this is invaluable when in transit. Flew through Singapore 8 6 times over a 3-week period back in March and on a few occasions, had a transit time of 4 to 5 hours. Being able to rest in a quiet spot, get some work done or just to relax definitely made a huge difference. In terms of other benefits, SIA First Class has its own separate check-in building at the airport, and I was done check-in and through passport control in 5 minutes. No need to go to the airport a couple of hours before, allowing me to spend more time in Singapore to explore.

They are in the air because you can see the turbulence, especially when the meal is being served (around 9:30). It is still a clear advertisement - paid or not.
Definitely not the best since Etihad Residence has showers and a bar but Singapore doesn’t
Service is more important than anything. I had been stared by stewardesses from Qatar n emirates when they saw me having difficulty in putting my luggage up into the luggage compartment above my seat! I had to call them for help to my astonishment! I received good care n attention even I travelled in economy class with SIA.
SQ has long known that it makes more sense to have the showers on the ground than in the air. And what is the point of a bar, when the bar is literally brought to each passenger.
Having showers in the air is a nice concept in theory, but it's nowhere like a shower on the ground in terms of comfort, water pressure, etc. I would much rather take a shower at the lounge shower if I had to. In terms of service, SIA is in a class of its own.
Sorry, I do not agree. I only flew economy to Singapore and Thailand a week ago. And the economy service was absolutely rubbish, the food was bad the suff did want to help and turned off the light and made you put the shutters in a day flight all in all I would never recommend them to anyone so bad
