Hi, my name is Katia. Let me pitch one idea to you. A teacher can encourage a little learner to imitate a conversation on the phone. Say, Santa Clause is calling. What questions will a child ask him? What will she/he tell about themselves? The calling person can be Harry Potter, a powerful magician, etc. Of course, you will need to talk to the kid for Santa Clause or another character. When I talked for Harry Potter to the boy he didn`t let me even say a word. He talked and talked because Harry Potter was his idol)
Great idea Angel! I love the idea of using role play in the classroom and I think it will work well online too. Please share more ideas whenever you want. 😃
@@etacude Hi, Eric! I have plenty of ideas but...they depend on the level of your students. For example, you can give your learner as a homework to read a story with a happy/sad end. And the task will be to change the end making it more creative or happier in case of an unhappy end initially. If you student is advanced, they will improvise.
Oh thank you. That’s very useful
OK, here's my tip: PATIENCE. I can't stress enough how important patience is. We have to be very patient with young ESL students. Excellent video btw :)
Very true Marko! We've got to be infinitely patient with our students. Just like class they need a stress free environment to achieve their best! Thank you for sharing. 🙏

Hi, I'm Sharif. I'm about to start this new year as a Kindergarten teacher, and I've been really worried about how to teach kids online, but this video has been pretty helpful. Thank you!
Hi, sharif. I’m hale. I wanna begin online teaching for kids, too. I’m a little worried about it, too
@@halerahnama1203 hi, Hale. It's kind of scary. I already had to teach online after Covid-19, but to elementary and high school. At the beginning it's pretty difficult and you're kind of lost, but then is not so hard. Hopefully is the same for Pre-K.
Hope it helps Sharif! I'll make some more content to help online teachers soon. Are you teaching via Zoom? Also, if you have any requests please let me know! 😃
@@halerahnama1203 hi dear I am also a kindergarten teacher and taking online classes through Google classroom and take live classes through Gmeet ... You have to be a kid with the kids .. .. play with them .. interact with them .. find a way to reach their heart..and their mind will certainly follow you !! And believe me you would start enjoying teaching the lill ones!!
Want more tips of teaching for young learners plzz
Sharing is caring thanks a bunch for ur care
Hope it helps Abdel! Thank you for watching 😃
It's important to note that each class should be designed specifically for the student. For example, I have a young student that doesn't like music and songs. It doesn't make sense to teach him this when it makes him uncomfortable.
Hello sir.Excellent tips. But I request you to give a few more tips for teaching senior secondary students via Google meet..and I would like to know how to to make an effective interaction with them
Hi Keerthana. That's an excellent question. I'll bring out another video on tips for teaching online this Wednesday and I will make others later this month. I hope it helps :)

Great tips , Thanks
Glad it was helpful Ana!
Thank you Eric for the amazing lecture on how to teach kindergarten online. This will be my first time from June to take a class online. How do I make it an hour class when zoom is just for 40/45 mins?
You can pay for Zoom to be unlimited. However, what I did without paying, is just instruct my students to relog in at 35min.
It's fast and they usually don't have a problem with it. :)
Love it!!! thank you
Happy you like Marion! 😊
If you haven't seen it yet, here are some games you can play online ruclips.net/video/vBmzTbl87Sk/видео.html
