Powder coat one of your patio slabs Martin if you have one spare?Or perhaps the squirrel garden ornament that Sharon had previously painted, if it needs repainted? Shame about the shoes.Would providing a key to the surface have helped?Stay safe.
I'd find it interesting to see if this powdercoat could "Soak" into some thick fabric (Like canvas) and weatherproof it. What would the finished material be like?
I don't know if you've got one of if your ovens big enough,but what about a hard hat ,like you'd wear on a building site ? You could do it duck egg blue for Sharon !!😄
Would you be willing to try this again with a proper welted pair of shoes with quality leather uppers? They won’t fall apart in the oven because they’re secured with thread instead of just glue. I’ll send you a pair if so.
Well... It was worth a try ! Never know till you just do it. I have seen where people make bird houses out of boots & such. But I think they just spray varnish on them & not heat them up. :~)
Okay, it looks good for a museum or something, but completely useless to be used as shoes... XoD Though I wanted you to glue the shoes back to their soles... Fix that! XoD
I don't know but anything must be an improvement.
I think I might do that to my work shoes once a week. It will save polishing them.
