I feel hypnotized by this song... captivated by the voice, lyrics and the whole performance, this is a master piece. RIP Chris and thanks for your music "No one sings like you anymore. CC"
Its 2022, and this performance never gets old. Miss you so much Chris, but you live on in our hearts and minds. We'll never forget you, your music is passed on to our kids, who equally love your music and your soul. Xxx
Best singer songwriter in rock history. Consider the range of music he penned and the depth of lyrical content. Then add his incomparable vocal abilities and performance

What an extraordinary live performance of this song! I woke up with this in my head this morning. It is so incredibly hard to accept what has happened. He had been heavy on my mind for the last year and now it is just so sadly surreal and unbelievable.
His ability to relate the darkness and pain this world is filled with and find perfect musical accompaniment to his poetic lyrical representation has been therapeutic to so many grappling with trauma just as Chris was. His ability to convey the emotional shades of light and dark, compassion and the evil of wicked men, lyrically and musically is unmatched, esp when projected to our ears and mind through those pipes sent by angels.
This one evokes a strange emotion; it's not anger... but, knowing how passionate Chris was about his craft and how he used it to connect with people in an effort to be understood, then to hear the way people carry on while he's trying to share his soul. He said the reason he ended Soundgarden was bc he was afraid it would wind up being a souless commercial spectacle like the band he was opening for at the time - Guns n Roses. He ended Soundgarden because it burned out as a vessel to share what he needed to share. He found a way to share his soul with the universe - through music. Sadness... that's the emotion. Sad that few got this about him.
Your words speak volumes in regards to your respect for artists and passion for the music they create. Thank you for your sentiments, as. your thoughts are filled with a truth I wish many could see. Your reminder of Mr. Cornell's connection between the emotions he felt performing and the crowd reaction is a testiment as to why he is one of the best singers in the History of Music. The lack of connection artists today has created a one hit machine filled with meaningless nothing's that continue to damage and deteriorate the integrity of music industry itself. The weight of my heart fills with joy, for fans like you and myself, that the artist can connect to on such a personal level. My heart also fills with sorrow for Mr. Cornell for "business decisions", or lack there of to be exact, that Euphoria Morking did not get thr publicity, promotion, or acclaim it deserved. The album is one of his greatest pieces of work, in my opinion. Both Mr. Cornell and the Band Eleven made a masterpiece of an album, both willing to and daring to leave their comfort zone to create a unique piece of art. Alain Johannes just had a documentary made about him called "Unfinished Plan", It is highly recommended. I cannot agree with your sentiments regarding the beyond disrespectful individuals that have the audacity to talk loudly, scream, shout, and carry on in any manner that could cause the artist to feel underappreciated or ignored, especially someone as passionate about their craft as Mr. Cornell is. I cannot imagine if the roles were reversed how they would feel. However, in a "me, myself, and I" time period, it appears their are a handful of individuals that respect music as an artform, a singer as a musician, or that at the least still maintain common courtesy in a not so common of worlds. I have thought to myself many times at live events, or while watching videos like these, that their should be a concert ettiqute set of rules the audience must obide by. If the rules reduced such disrespectfull acts of stupidity by 40% I would be ELATED. I only hope Mr. Cornell knows nows the impact he as a person, and he as a musician, had on millions. In closing, I quote Rolling Stone Magazine in regards to their two word spot on review of the self-titled Temple of The Dog album, may Mr. Chris Cornell and his legacy remain "Eternally Immortal."
Yes sad isnt it but this is wot u get from some of the Roxy on Sunset crowd too busy talkin shit while the greatest rock singer we will ever hear pours his heart out.

Awesome. Should have 5 million views not 5 thousand. If I am ever lucky enough to see him solo in a very small venue like this I pray that the audience is considerate and stays quiet when He is singing/talking.
Jesus christ.. I bought Euphoria Morning a few weeks ago, and this song sticks out so much. This peformance is just so incredible. I wish I could have been there!
I usually say I always feel like crying when watch videos of Chris Cornell. But in the case of this performance I do cry, almost every time I watch it. I am not a great fan of Euphoria Morning and the studio version of this song, but this specific performance seems to me just perfect, so good technically and so full of emotions. We miss you so much, I wish you did come again and never disappear for long :(
The "Do not disturb me" sign is up... Today, the 6th anniversary of the day I wish he had tried to live a bit longer... Gone, but my heart will never forget and my ears will forever be blessed ... May he forever rest in peace... FINALLY, they have back that which was always meant to be theirs... It's been a long time coming... We wait with baited breath...The Knights of the Sound Table will ride again...
Thank you so much for having uploaded this. I saw him live a few times, but I was never this close! This is one of my favorite songs and this performance really captures the magnitude of his abilities. Astounding. I could watch this over and over again.
1 of my top 5 songs of all from Soundgarden, Temple, Solo all of it! Unbelievable to hear it like this. I would give anything to be right where whoever has the camera that shot this. Lucky Lucky!
Thank you, thank you, thank you for posting this! I was @ this show but way too far back to see about 90%Q of it.. I guess it pays to get there early and stand in line. Damn.
What have you done, my little spark? Cursing my name cause again I put you out Falling apart, you tell yourself you are Dreaming only of the ones who never dream of you I'm your disappearing one Vanish when the curtain's drawn But I will come again, and you will let me in And you'll see I never disappear for long Into your room I stumble now Too tired to cower, and it's too late to draw you out And there you lie like a painting of Christ Bleeding on the heads of the ones who nailed you down I'm your disappearing one Vanish when the curtain's drawn But I will come again, and you will let me in And you'll see I never disappear for long
Near his house. He used to pal around with Brad Pitt and Josh Brolin in LA during this period. Josh Brolin said that women completely ignored he and Brad with Chris around, entranced by his prescence. Like they didnt exist lol!
No BS. EM is one of the best albums of all time...top 20 for sure.
Well said my friend. for me it is number one.
This album will stay with me forever .
RIP Mr Chris Cornell
100% agreed, if not top 10
to me....it's #1
Definately.
@@Dylan-ge9un Definitely Top 11
One of the best voices ever. No mixing, no special effects, no digitizing, just pure talent. Probably my favorite song/performance by CC.
You need to hear When I'm down. Amazing Period. Chills up and down my spine. I think it's the same night too.
I cant help it!!!! I love this song!!! .... euphoria morning is one of the best albums in my life!.... love chris cornell! ❤❤❤❤
I feel hypnotized by this song... captivated by the voice, lyrics and the whole performance, this is a master piece. RIP Chris and thanks for your music "No one sings like you anymore. CC"

I have EM & his voice was just different back then. Now like a fine wine, he got better with age! Rest in peace, my sweet Prince!
For those that don't know.....This is a perfect example of why he is Chris Cornell.....He is Really On It , Such a Tough song to sing !!!
Best singer songwriter in rock history. Consider the range of music he penned and the depth of lyrical content. Then add his incomparable vocal abilities and performance
Liquid soul pouring into a voice that comes from ancient times.
This was, this is, Chris Cornell.
My soul is at home.

I keep coming back to this. He shows a sadness that I find in myself at times

this song is truly one of a kind
One of his best performances, simply amazing.
Goodbye Chris. Thank you for your music. I will never forget you.

Wow, well said. He was really principled and determined not to let the Suits dictate his artistry.
Yes sad isnt it but this is wot u get from some of the Roxy on Sunset crowd too busy talkin shit while the greatest rock singer we will ever hear pours his heart out.
He was over SG . People don’t want to believe that but he was . No more bs
Wow thanks for this post.
This song is so underrated❤️
Such a bare bones version amd sung like only the man himself could sing it.
Much more touching that the studio version.
Exactly.
His tone and timbre....are spot on...pitch spot on...such a powerful and beautiful singer
Especially the high note after he scratches his head.
2:20 directly from the soul. Love this moment.
Rest in peace, you magnificent banshee. I'm so pissed I'll never get to see him live.
Sup J

Amazing. So much talent, so much skill. Thank you for every song & every performance. Rest in peace, brother.
Really one the best song I ever heard in my life, beautiful, deeply can make us dive in good feeling. This version pure, without help...just Chris
Awesome. Should have 5 million views not 5 thousand. If I am ever lucky enough to see him solo in a very small venue like this I pray that the audience is considerate and stays quiet when He is singing/talking.
Wow, what a song. Such a rare video. Such a huge loss…
Jesus christ.. I bought Euphoria Morning a few weeks ago, and this song sticks out so much. This peformance is just so incredible. I wish I could have been there!

I’m guessing nobody expected this gold that night.

Not human❤️
Yes you were our disappearing one... goodbye Chris.
Otherworldly. My eyes are bugging out of my HEAD.
God damn, although the instrumentals sounds a bit empty without the whole band, he still sings just as good as the original.
Gospel. Chris is the truth!!
8 dislikes??? how is that possible..ya'll have no soul.. The most beautiful voice I'll ever hear in my lifetime💯
He's seems so vulnerable. Pouring his heart out.
what is the meaning of living life without Chris? Shit, he meant a lot to me.
pelle d oca...la voce più rock di sempre
Was wondering if there was a live version of this beautiful song, thank you for sharing.
This performance is AMAZING. I wish the audience were more aware of the exquisite talent that graced the stage. I’m sure some of them did. RIP Chris.

Still my favorite
I think he sings this to his family and friends, who get reminded of him in magical ways from the other side
He never plays this one anymore - such a great song.
What have you done, my little spark?
Cursing my name cause again I put you out
Falling apart, you tell yourself you are
Dreaming only of the ones who never dream of you
I'm your disappearing one
Vanish when the curtain's drawn
But I will come again, and you will let me in
And you'll see I never disappear for long
Into your room I stumble now
Too tired to cower, and it's too late to draw you out
And there you lie like a painting of Christ
Bleeding on the heads of the ones who nailed you down
I'm your disappearing one
Vanish when the curtain's drawn
But I will come again, and you will let me in
And you'll see I never disappear for long
again! again!!!
Rest in peace chris..
Sick Song. Not many folks could nail an appropriate rendition

Yup, that's me :) Where were you standing?
Olmate sang the odd tune. ✨🕊️🇺🇸🌌💖
so odd that a star that big was in such a small venue...would have killed to be there
Near his house. He used to pal around with Brad Pitt and Josh Brolin in LA during this period. Josh Brolin said that women completely ignored he and Brad with Chris around, entranced by his prescence. Like they didnt exist lol!
