As a teen in the 90's I had no idea how bad ass the cello is.

I’ve been a Chris Cornell fan since 89, when I bought “Louder Than Love” on a whim. I was fortunate to see him live a number of times. Undoubtedly my favourite musician of all time. His voice, his writing style, and his willingness to take chances. Irreplaceable. Part of me still can’t accept that he’s gone. RIP Chris.

Agreed. As were so many of his other songs and performances.. between Chris, Neil, Tom Petty and all the other giants we lost, I feel like music is dying. Like soon they'll just have an app that plays randomized notes depending on ur mood or something. I have been hrough many rock star deaths since I was a kid and all have been very sad and devastating. I can honestly say that the day that I found out that we lost this man was the worst ever. What a gift he had that he shared with the world and he is always missed.

It’s sickening that greed and murder took him away from us. We love ❤️ Chris and his amazing voice of love and passion sings of his troubles. Hope those involved burn 🔥 in hell for taking him away. i was lucky enough to see the higher truth concert in regina last year and he rocked the house! his music touch me in many ways and helped me threw though times in my life. im really going to miss him and how he touched many people lives like mine with his god given talent, amazing singing and generosity and kind heart. from his soul he sang with passion. this world lost the best rock musician last week in my opinion. hes rocking the house in heaven now. rip chris :(

It was love at firt sound / sight when, while shopping at a mall, they had the music video of "Cochise" playing and I stopped what I was doing to go see who this fantastic voice/ sound was and to my surprise,my eyes really liked what I saw.....Chris Cornell ! Wow...been a fan ever since...Temple of the dog,Soundgarden,Ausioslave.....Love Chris Cornell.( My boyfriend was with me at this time and he saw my surprise and got jealous because he saw how I got drawn like a magnet ! I just was like " Where have you been all my life?" He touched my heart deeply.
