Chris Cornell’s favorite movie was Johnny Depp secret window. Chris Cornell’s favorite food was pizza was pepperoni and cheese with mushroom.. Chris Cornell was a sous chef alongside being a rock Lord. Chris Cornell also donated $10-$20,000 each show to charities especially to aid for abusive children organizations. Chris Cornell had a net worth of 6 million if he was greedy he would’ve died with a net worth of 700 million. I just want to give him a hug. This song is about a bird that suffocated because of the atmosphere after the doomsday nuclear fallout occurred. ( fourth of July ) the bird, lost consciousness, and flew into a window breaking its neck, paralyzing itself as a bird lay there in its blood with blue eyes Chris Cornell put it out of its misery, and he felt the pain it was being inflicted.

You have some truth. But much wrong. Chris in his Paris days of owning a restaurant and after working at Rays loved foie gras. Always elegant. The bird flew into his window ffs. You should write fairy tales. Maybe you should read "Total Fucking Godhead " educate yourself before spouting drivel.

😥✊🏻👉🏻💀👁👂🏻👁👶🏼🧑🏻‍🦱🧔🏽. You can see me in his music videos, First one black hole sun, second one super unknown. You can see me in Black hole Sun at 3:26.. in super unknown at 0:56. The process of my well-being started and super unknown as I was inside of princess Diana. I don’t know exactly how Chris Cornell and Princess Diana started their secret relationship all I do now is they did it at Chris Cornell’s Paris a state That’s where I was conceived, I am the third son of princess Diana of whales, oldest of Chris. I was taken away somehow I ended up with a loving family with their family name Silver also Pretty interesting coincidence since Chris Cornell’s wife at the time of the earth fare has the last name Silver. I remember being on a plane I remember there were a bunch of soldiers with big packs and I remember there was a glowing red light, This aircraft had no windows so I thought it was a military cargo plane. Princess Diana made me disappear otherwise I would be killed because I threaten Charles. Charles could cheat on Diana thousands of times where any one of Diana‘s children would be murdered by Charles secret service which is the same service That crashed into her car in the Tunnel on the failed Knight. Prince Charles has many children many hundreds The mothers executed secretly in the children’s throne in orphanages. My fate was A peaceful exile

The fact that he wrote this song (one of my favorites ever) with such compassion for.. a bird he had to put out of its misery is so touching and special, not many songs make me feel this way. Tells a lot about Chris' compassion for animals and just him as a person.

This man seemingly wrote, composed, and sang so effortlessly and beautiful and so often seemed to be writing the lyrics to soothe my aching soul at the very darkest times in my life. I honestly believe his magic is why I'm still alive today. I'm saddened that I couldn't somehow have met befriended and done the same for him. Now I know why my father cried when John Lennon was murdered. I woke up that morning to the news of Chris' death and sobbed like a baby. Stayed home from work and just listened to everything I could from his work the whole day. Thank you Mr. Cornell

    Heard it from another room
Eyes were waking up just to fall asleep
    Love's like suicide
Dazed out in a garden bed
With a broken neck lays my broken gift
    Just like suicide
    You're my last ditch
    Was my last brick
    Lent to finish her
    Oh, to finish her
She lived like a murder, how she'd fly so sweetly
She lived like a murder, but she died
    Just like suicide
Bit down on the bullet now, I had a taste so sour
Had to think of something sweet
    Love's like suicide
    Safe outside my gilded cage
With an ounce of pain, I wield a ton of rage
    Just like suicide, hmm
    With eyes of blood
    And bitter blue, hmm-mmm
    How I feel for you
    I feel for you
She lived like a murder, how she'd fly so sweetly
She lived like a murder, but she died
    Just like suicide
    And my last ditch
    Was my last brick
    Yeah, lent to finish her
    Oh, to finish her
With eyes of blood and bitter blue
    How I feel for you
    Yeah, I feel for you
    I feel for you
    Yeah, I feel for you
    I feel, oh, hmm
I feel for you, yeah, yeah, hmm, yeah
    Oh, oh, feel
    Oh, feel, feel
    Oh-yeah, oh, oh-yeah, feel

She lived like a murder, but she died
    Just like suicide

I lived in Seattle from 1992-98; while in my twenties. I waited tables in high-end restaurants in downtown Seattle. Most of the wait staff and kitchen staff were deep in the Grunge scene. I was NOT into Grunge music. I was listening to Jazz and NYC style trip-hip-hop at the time. One super cool waitress I worked with also worked as a booking agent for the Crocodile Cafe in downtown Seattle. Me and my wife at the time, got invited to shows where many of the grunge rockstars were either playing or attending. I met Kurt Cobain at the Off Ramp a night Hole was playing. Met the bass player and rhythm guitarist for Pearl Jam. I met Layne Staley at a party. One night when Pearl Jam was rumored to be playing at the Crocodile Cafe, Chris Cornell was there. I stood a foot or two next to him and we made eye contact. The intensity in his eyes. His presence. Fucking amazing.

@@reesebene6082 If I'm not wrong, Chris said in an interview that he wrote this song after a bird hit his window and didn't die, so as the song say:
''Dazed out in a garden bed
      With a broken neck
      Lays my broken gift
      Just like suicide
      And my last ditch
      Was my last brick
      Lent to finish her
      Finish her''
