The fact that he wrote this song (one of my favorites ever) with such compassion for.. a bird he had to put out of its misery is so touching and special, not many songs make me feel this way. Tells a lot about Chris' compassion for animals and just him as a person. "My last ditch was my last brick, lent to finish her". Rest In peace king.

I honestly believe his magic is why I'm still alive today. I'm saddened that I couldn't somehow have met befriended and done the same for him. Now I know why my father cried when John Lennon was murdered. I woke up that morning to the news of Chris' death and sobbed like a baby. This is a spectacular song, on so many levels! Wow.
Heard it from another room
Eyes were waking up just to fall asleep
Love's like suicide
Dazed out in a garden bed
With a broken neck lays my broken gift
Just like suicide
You're my last ditch
Was my last brick
Lent to finish her
Oh, to finish her
She lived like a murder, how she'd fly so sweetly
She lived like a murder, but she died
Just like suicide
Bit down on the bullet now, I had a taste so sour
Had to think of something sweet
Love's like suicide
Safe outside my gilded cage
With an ounce of pain, I wield a ton of rage
Just like suicide, hmm
With eyes of blood
And bitter blue, hmm-mmm
How I feel for you
I feel for you
She lived like a murder, how she'd fly so sweetly
She lived like a murder, but she died
Just like suicide
And my last ditch
Was my last brick
Yeah, lent to finish her
Oh, to finish her
With eyes of blood and bitter blue
How I feel for you
Yeah, I feel for you
I feel for you
Yeah, I feel for you
I feel, oh, hmm
I feel for you, yeah, yeah, hmm, yeah
Oh, oh, feel
Oh, feel, feel
Oh-yeah, oh, oh-yeah, feel
She lived like a murder, how she'd fly so sweetly
She lived like a murder, but she died
Just like suicide

Dear God, it's been five years since Chris died and I can't come to terms with it .
He didnt die, he was a suicided/murdered by Podesta's crew.
I can't either
Man, his death was hard.
It doesn't have to be that way dude, look at the positives he left to us💚

never heard this one before. fantastic.
this is beautiful. Never heard this version before. Always thought this would be a cool song for a stripped-down cover, but ovkors No One does covers like Chris.
He wrote it, not really a cover. He probably wrote it on acoustic guitar to begin with.
We miss you so much...still we listen you.
Depression is a demon near impossible to beat. At best you can sometimes manage it with meds but unfortunately it doesn't work for everyone.🙏😭🌹🌹
