The sailing class going by at 13:40 made me smile.
When Mads put the last task over to the finished column I felt a little heart broken and excited at the same time ....it was a lot like the feeling you get when a child graduates ...you know they're ready but you'll miss them for being all grown up

The view in your last shot of you saying "See You" shows a darned good looking boat. Wish my house looked that good.
Kinda sad.....feels like the end of an era. I've been watching this series for years and can't believe how far you both have come. Now is the time to enjoy the fruits of all that hard work!!

Living in rural Michigan we have been plagued with terrible satellite internet providers. We got Starlink this spring and love watching Sail Life in 4K now 😎

You young kids. :) That's not so slow. I started out using a teletype for programing and it was 300 baud. Then I upgraded to a 1200 baud modem. That was heaven :)

Now that's what I call determination. To travel 2.5 hours one way just to get a mattress. 👍
That's 2,5 hours by train and an extra 30 minutes by tram and some walking. At that point, renting a car would make so much sense especially when you need to bring two mattresses back the same route.

Hi, have fun and fair winds on the next trip to IRELAND .😊
If you plan to be sailing and living on board in hot places I suggest installing 10mm or 20mm thick closed cell foam on the ceiling to greatly reduce the heat in the boat. Sticking and screwing a batten frame allows you to add a finishing cover. In my boat in the subtropics I put in 10mm foam, left a 10cm air gap then finished with super light plastic wood planks. The untreated areas are red hot in summer, while the treated areas are actually cold to the touch.

Perhaps, I agree Eva is quite lovely...and fun to listen to...but selfies always have lower grade sound!
More B-Roll with voice overs would help when roaming through the cities, then we get to see more of it!

Assuming Ava is good with shooting selfies (not many takes), they may require less work than more editing and voiceovers. I like the selfies, voiceovers don't capture the mood or energy of the moment.

It is amazing that you two found each other and I am so looking to watching your adventures sailing, while I start my "somewhat extensive refit" on my 38 ft Bristol Aleron sailboat. Lets just say its going to be "Sail Life" , "Sailing Uma" and "boat works Today" project. I can't wait to meet you two in person, we have such a one-sided friendship.

Hey Mads and Ava, Love the video. I enjoy the tour of Brest and also all the DIY stuff. I hope you don't feel obligated to fill each video with projects for viewers. One project a week is more than enough especially if it is well explained as you have an amazing talent for finding expert ways to approach each project and deserve so much credit as a "how-to-do things-right" channel. Love the comparison review of Iridium Go and Garmin. You guys are now a double threat and I hope you will enjoy sailing, enjoy cruising, exploring new harbors and new worlds. I remember when you asked Andy at "Boatworks Today" for advice and now he just talks to the camera while you guys are a thousand miles ahead of him and the best source for advice. I've learned so much from you Mads. Wish you the best. Fair winds.
