  • The state argued for the malice murder charge on Nov. 17, 2021, as the trial for the death of Ahmaud Arbery continues.
Ahmaud Arbery was shot and killed on Feb. 23, 2020. Three men face murder charges in a trial in southeast Georgia. The trial is on Day 9 as of Nov.17.
Ahmaud Arbery was shot and killed on Feb. 23, 2020. Cellphone video leaked to the public shows two armed white men in a truck approaching the 25-year-old Black man as he runs down the road. One of the men, later identified as Travis McMichael, and Arbery struggle over McMichael's shotgun before Arbery is shot and collapses.
Travis McMichael, his father Gregory McMichael and William "Roddy" Bryan, who recorded the video, are all charged with murder in Arbery's death.

@@mikeferguson4522 See, that's exactly the attitude that makes BLM look bad in the eyes of other people. How do you say "hunting a black man like an animal is immoral" and then turn around and say basically _in the same breath_ "let's hope they hunt that white man like an animal"? Obviously all of these men deserve their just penalty, that's what the law is for. And if the law isn't punishing enough, we need to change the law. But advocating for vigilante justice is *exactly* how it even came to this. Citizens are NOT law enforcement, nor should they be.

There is no evidence to suggest he was out running that day. He walked onto the security cameras and there was no security camera or no residents that ever caught or saw him running in that neighborhood before. The state was not allowed to mention jogging in the trial because of this. They tried yesterday, but the judge pointed out that if they say he was jogging then the defence would be allowed to mention all of his crimes and interactions with police where he ran away every time in the same way. Also they could then mention that he was on parole, which is also a reason one might run away from people attempting to detain you in relation to trespass or burglary.

Now he's no longer President I dunno if Biden has stuck his nose in yet. After 2 judged recused themselves of the case the 3rd DA was forced to charge the men with murder before reviewing the evidence due to Presidential and national pressure.
Ironically after the defense attorney who had reviewed the evidence with a prosecutor and the 2nd judge who ruled self defense, leaked the video to the press in hopes it would end the rumors which were causing a local uproar. Instead people not being lawyers like many other self defenses cases were incensed by the video and it became a national case with Presidential involvement.

Not being forced to wear prison clothes and appear as a convict in front of the jury who has yet to decide your fate is a well established part of that constitutional right. I fully encourage renewed protests if Arbery's killers are let go or if Rittenhouse is let go.

I didn't follow this case but Rittenhouse is clearly NOT GUILTY. Unless you didn't follow the trial or have an agenda obscuring you from being objective its as clear as crystal he's not guilty.
