- Here's what she had to say on Nov.18 about the events surrounding Ahmaud Abery's death.
Ahmaud Arbery was shot and killed on Feb. 23, 2020. Three men face murder charges in a trial in southeast Georgia. The trial is on Day 10 as of Nov.18.
Ahmaud Arbery was shot and killed on Feb. 23, 2020. Cellphone video leaked to the public shows two armed white men in a truck approaching the 25-year-old Black man as he runs down the road. One of the men, later identified as Travis McMichael, and Arbery struggle over McMichael's shotgun before Arbery is shot and collapses.
Travis McMichael, his father Gregory McMichael and William "Roddy" Bryan, who recorded the video, are all charged with murder in Arbery's death.

I think they KNEW he wouldn’t be arrested because they testified that they weren’t even aware of anything illegal having ever occurred at that point. This prosecutor is so skilled at her job. She completely changed how she asked questions to this wittiness. She spoke to her in a way that made the witness feel like they were sharing little rumors and gossip together. Her tone of voice her sly smiles and her body language all was done in a way that solicited the exact reactions and answers she expected she would get from the witness. Subtle enough not to seemed forced or patronizing. Just masterful cross examination.

Linda Dunikoski is THE GOAT. I love how she sets up witnesses to say things they don't even know they're saying. She just had this neighbor admit this is a trigger-happy, paranoid neighborhood, and she genuinely feared for her husband's life because she KNOWS everyone carries arms (even if not objectively) and she KNOWS anyone can end up dead with a wrong turn of events.

I have followed this case since the beginning. The horrifying way Ahmaud was murdered just got inside my soul. There are three men on trial for this killing, but the whole neighborhood is twisted. They were all convinced the neighborhood was experiencing a crime wave. In reality, little to no crime was taking place and the neighbors were just spreading stories to each other that they had "heard" happened to someone else. The whole neighborhood seemed to become obsessed with getting the occasional trespasser at the house that was under construction. The neighborhood had a FB group where they talked non stop about the trespassing and how it endangered the neighborhood. Travis McMichael spoke of "picking up arms" and how any trespasser to the property was "playing with fire." Right before the murder, it seemed like a neighbor would call 911 any time they saw any black male. This woman seems like she was the ringleader of all this nonsense and she is really downplaying how racist and paranoid they were. Every time Ahmaud set foot in that neighborhood he was in grave danger and there is blood on all of their hands.

When I was 10 years old, my family moved into a nice (all white) neighborhood in South Carolina. A few months later a black family moved in down the road. They had a little girl my age and we quickly became great friends.
I found out that her dad was a pro football player. So he had worked HARD to get there. Don't ask for what team...I was 10 and all I wanted was to play dolls with my friend.
A few months later they just moved away. I still remember how hard we both were crying when he pulled her away from me and put her in the car.
After they left I remember overhearing different "neighbors" saying how they were glad and "that" family didn't belong in our neighborhood in the first place.
I am still convinced (40 years later) that the "neighbors" made it hard for my friend and her family to feel accepted and SAFE.
Not one of their children were ever allowed to play with me after that...can you guess why?
I have gone into several houses under construction in my life...especially as a child.
I ask you to consider this... maybe a person likes to go walking or even, dare I say it, jogging. Maybe this person thinks about their life and their dreams and goals while out doing said activity. Maybe this same person goes into a building under construction to learn something about construction methods. Or- stay with me - maybe, just maybe said person is dreaming of a day that they can own a home like the one they are looking at and planning all the things that they would have to do to accomplish such a life.
Jogging could have been a type of escape for him from his troubles and a type of therapy where he could collect his thoughts and dream about his wonderful future and plan the things he needed to do to better himself and his situation. Bet.
Unfortunately, Mr Aubry is gone.
Of course, if he had been able to buy a home in that neighborhood, don't think this bunch of snobs would except him there. No matter how hard he worked to earn it.
