  • A jury found the three white men accused of killing Ahmaud Arbery, a 25-year-old Black man, guilty on most of the 29 charges they faced the day before Thanksgiving.
    More trial coverage, here: www.11alive.com/ahmaudarbery
Arbery was shot and killed on Feb. 23, 2020. Cellphone video leaked to the public shows two armed white men in a truck approaching the 25-year-old Black man as he runs down the road. One of the men, later identified as Travis McMichael, and Arbery struggle over McMichael's shotgun before Arbery is shot and collapses.
Travis McMichael, his father Gregory McMichael and William "Roddy" Bryan, who recorded the video, are all charged with murder in Arbery's death.

@@Bigguy5154From January 1 2019 to February 23 2020 there was no Police Reports of Thefts from Houses in the Satilla Shores Neighborhood. There was some Police Reports of Thefts from Vehicles but the Suspect was a White Guy. Doubtful that Ahmaud Arbery could of been mistaken for a White Guy. In the Georgia State Murder Trial Travis McMichael testified that after He moved in with his parents and sister living in the rented 2 bedroom house on Satilla Drive in the Fall of 2018 that Crimes increased in the Satilla Shores Neighborhood. Sounds like Travis McMicheal was Admitting to Creating Crimes in the Satilla Shores Neighborhood since Travis McMicheal was Fired from his job for being a Racist Person. After all Travis McMichael needed money to pay for his Ford F-150 Pickup Truck. The McMicheals was behind on rent and living on welfare. Ahmaud Arbery had 2 jobs working at his Dad's businesses. Ahmaud Arbery worked at his Dad's Landscaping Business and his Dad's Truck Washing Business. Doubtful that Gregory McMicheal was there looking for some new recipes for the next neighborhood barbecue. I could see Roddie & Travis talking to their lawyers & smile here & there, but that miserable old man never talked or even looked at his lawyers. He sat there disgusted still thinking that he's been done wrong.
He's the most dispicable of them all by far. He started this & he thought his connections to law enforcement would keep him out of trouble. If he had any good in him he woulda tried to take all the blame for this. U can clearly tell he woulda been very happy if only his son got convicted. U can tell he wouldn't give a dam about if his son got sent to prison for the rest of his life & he skated free from everything.
What a scumbag. Prison life gonna be hardest on him for sure. Roddie & Travis will find ways to "do their time" instead of their time doing them. But miserable piece of scum Greg won't be able to figure it out. He'll scowl & be miserable 24/7 in that tiny cell for the rest of his life getting 3 small meals a day that will be brought to his cell like dog food on a tray. And he'll have to worry about that food being tampered with by the prison kitchen staff. The prison staff gonna eventually figure out which guards come to pick up his food trays & they can get real creative with putting "special ingredients" into their food. He's gonna have the toughest time by far adjusting to state prison life & he will spiral into madness. If u can't figure how to do ur time u will descend into the pit madness. As soon as Greg gets processed in the GDC he's gonna feel like his last 2 years locked up awaiting trial & sentencing was a vacation!
On that very day, and in that 1st of many sleepless nights, will Justice only begin to be served for Greg McMichael. He's gonna lose his mind!

Along with this, our confidence in our court system here in 2022 (not 1930, 40, 50, etc) in America is so poor that in a case of murder as clinical/clear as this one, we have Americans guessing whether the McMichael would get off and praising the jury for doing their job (in this particular case where there were not alot of complicated moving parts). AND THHE MCMICHEALS ALMOST GOT OFF. Look at how the community & the police dept. Convened with them after the murder. WE ARE A sick country.

What really makes Roddy even dumber than he looks is that months later after the murder, he released his video. One that no one else had. Thanks to this convicted dumb criminal he put all three of them in jail. If that video had not been released, none of them would have gone to Trial. What’s going to be funny while they’ve moved to the Big House with Lifers just like them, I just wonder how Travis McMichael’s will feel about the raccoons. Remember he and his best friend Zack, who was a witness, defined a raccoon as a black man with gold teeth who smokes NewPorts. Angers me every time I think of how funny Zach thought his racist statement was. Now he who makes an uncared for hog look beautiful gets to spend the rest of his life with raccoons. Need to be careful what you say, how you think and remember that we are all human beings who should care for all human beings. I don’t feel badly for none of them. They witnessed nothing first hand to even make a citizens arrest. English certainly did not know any of them or ask him to do anything for him and they were trespassing on his property without permission looking for AHMAUD. Well, they all have plenty of time to think about how they’ve ruined their entire lives in 5 minutes.

They will be among their Aryan Brotherhood brethren. All three of them worked tirelessly to achieve this outcome. Normal people would have called the police as opposed to allowing their sense of entitlement to put them where they are today. By the way, they also face a trial in federal court of hate crimes and of course civil action from the victim's family.

      He gave them the pile.
And to the guy who thinks they’ll be aryan heroes, notsomuch. The aryans are still by far the minority in every prison in America. These two pink faced peckerwoods would bring waaaaay too much heat and whatever aryan group dumb enough to even hang out with them would probably get themselves shanked into oblivion fairly quickly. Which is all a waste of words because they’ll hang themselves in protective custody imo. Prisons don’t put super high profile offenders in general population even if they request it. It’s an obv liability for the prison and they just don’t work that way. But isolation for life is it’s own monstrosity. Don’t underestimate it.

First of all, my thoughts and prayers are with the family of Ahmad Arbery. I can’t begin to imagine the pain and suffering they are enduring.
As for the prosecutor, Linda Dunikoski, her team appears to have covered everything comprehensively!! Her tenacity, passion, and attention to detail is quite admirable! I also love the way she checked with her team at the conclusion of her presentation to ensure every t was crossed and every i was dotted. Well done!!
The prosecutor did an excellent job showing the lack of remorse of the defendants, and rebutting the baseless arguments of the defense.
It’s a sad commentary when people thoroughly believe they are above the law and that their lives have more value and importance than the lives of others!!
The Honorable Judge Walmsley did an excellent job of maintaining order throughout the proceedings and explaining the rationale for his decisions!!

I read somewhere that this prosecutor had to take a road trip and work remotely to come into this county's courthouse and successfully prosecute this case and get justice for the Arbery family. She is light-years ahead of the defense. She knows exactly what to do to make sure these sentences stick.
