Here is my question to gun owners; Why is it okay for a gun owner to believe that if someone takes away their gun that they will be killed by it, and yet, a person with a gun pointed at them should not believe that they would be killed by a gun owner and have no right to fight for their life?

His buddy Bryan can holler down the hall, "y'all got 'em?" He made the choice to chase Ahmaud, instead of walking, or jogging with him for a unthreatend conversation. Now he will worry if HIS son, will be targeted because of his crap. He should have told his heart attack, stroked, hip replaced Father, to leave it for the cops. Exactly! This is what both this case and the Rittenhouse case have in common. The killers tried to take the law into their own hands rather than letting qualified professionals deal with it. They play "Rambo" on the street and then when they've murdered people they cry "self-defense". That defense just doesn't hold water when they've injected themselves into a situation they have no business nor authority in. It seems as though these guns are giving ordinary people the false sense of security that they think they are cops now.

Because they suspected Arbery may be armed with a weapon, possibly a handgun in his pocket. A handgun was stolen from Travis's truck some weeks prior. And Travis called out to a dark complexioned person who ran off at night from the in construction property and that person shoved something in their pocket.

I don't know anything about this case but... NO it is NOT illegal to chase someone with a gun.
Your statement about that being illegal is just plumb stupid.
There is NO law and never has been one that says it's illegal to chase someone with a gun.
It might not be a wise idea but it is not illegal.
Now chasing and menacing someone if you didn't have a legally justifiable reason to chase them would be illegal wether you have a gun or not. So don't chase someone if you don't have a valid legal reason to chase them.
But wether or not you have a gun has absolutely nothing whatsoever to do with wether or not chasing the person is legal or illegal.
For instance of I see someone who called my wife ugly of Facebook and I see them in public and chase and threaten them for it then that would be illegal regardless of wether I have a gun or not because I did not have a legally valid reason to chase and apprehend him because calling someone ugly is not a crime.
But if I catch someone breaking into my garage I have every right in the world to chase him regardless of wether or not I have a gun on me. And he doesn't even have to really be guilty of breaking into my garage as long as I have a reasonable reason for BELIEVING he was breaking into my garage.
And I am NOT required to put my gun up before I chase and apprehend him... That is just plumb stupid.
Sorry... I don't know anything about this particular case but it just irritates me to see so many people making such ignorant comments about the law.
I suggest you order a book called "the law of self defense" and read it before you comment on self defense laws.
And also I suggest you study up on gun laws in America before you make ignorant comments about what is, and what isn't legal to do with your gun because the amount of ignorance in America over the right to self defense and gun laws is just staggering.

My goodness, you don't even have the sense that God gave a mule. Beavis, you don't even have to chase someone with a gun to get thrown in jail, you can simply brandish a gun and get thrown in jail. If chasing someone with a gun were legal, I would love to see the look on your face if you got chased with a gun and the police told you there's nothing they can do about it.
