I'm confused, who exactly is on trial here? I could have sworn it was the three racist good ole boys with confederate flag license plates on their pickups who chased down and killed a black man with nothing more than suspicion, but it sounds like the black man who was hunted and killed is the one actually on trial.

    • @pkp6791

I totally agree with you. Sadly, this is 'justice' in America. If the victim is Black (even if s/he has been murdered by the defendants), s/he is always put on trial as part of the shenanigans. Same thing happened with George Floyd. This is nothing new.
Apparently, the Constitution /rules/legal guidelines are only applicable to certain people. This is why the system is problematic. The way Rules/laws are enforced changes based on the demographic of the accused. Wide latitude and leeway are given for 'people' like the McMichaels and Bryans of the country. Evidence is managed to incriminate OR absolve based on the whim and political persuasion of a judge, We have seen case after case that has been handled with wide swings in how justice is managed.
And notice how they refused to allow into evidence the "F'n N*****' comment that Travis McMichael hurled over Arbery's dead body right after he murdered him .
Lol. Clown court trying to pass as real justice isn't helpful to all.

The whole incident was swept under the rug until the Bryan video was leaked and showed how the whole thing went down! ! IT makes one wonder how many other times over the centuries crimes have been literally buried to protect horrible people.

Fact: Mr. Arbery was a convicted felon who was doing his time on probation. If caught even for a minor charge/offense. Arbery was likely going to prison if he complied. This was obviously the reason Arbery ran and eventually attacked the man holding a shotgun - not vigilante murderous racism as you want to believe.

What crime did Ahmaud Arbery commit on 23 February 2020? Trespassing? I've gone in construction sites of houses, just to see the progress, get an Idea for when I can build my own house. Several people went into that structure, White and Black, not that the race should not matter. No one is Innocent, let the Justice fit the crime. This judge has been amazing. Patient and measured etc. He is not letting them pull BS. Too many people let their bias, conscious or unconscious, cloud their decisions. Because they have gotten away with it for so long in this country and are so jaded by their own racism that they don't even think they are doing or saying anything wrong!! It's crazy!! It must be the black guys fault, he must have been doing something wrong, he is black so he had to be doing something nefarious. Check your racism people. This country is patheticly and unapologetically racist. They refuse to look in the mirror and admit they might be wrong. Narcissism, Dunning Kruger, cognitive dissonance. Thank god for this judge being a true fair judge. Unlike the sham of a trial for the loser that murdered protesters for no reason. Just because he wanted to kill people. They trapped Arbery and as you said he had no choice but to defend himself. He’s went all the way around that truck trying to dodge Travis and Travis decided to confront him at the front of his truck. He could’ve kept a safe distance behind his truck but he decided that he was going to engage with Arbery! There’s no justification for chasing someone with loaded guns threatening to blow their head off and proceeded to try to do just that. The intent was to kill and that’s that! 3 life sentences indicates that the jury agrees! So, take your entitlement and racism elsewhere. 🤡💩

Aug 21,2018 burke county witness report and body camera shows
ahmaud was caught by stay at home mom looking into her car windows in her back yard
police came to give ahmaud a trespass warning, but when confronted he sais./ "i had gone running"
became aggressive, confrontational and repeatedly threatened to whoop the officers ass
this is on body camera footage of an Modus Operandi, prtend to be jogging while prowling, get mad and attack whoever catches you
oct 23, 2018 ahmaud was caught prowling abandon property, he ran and got caught but claimed he was "jogging"
both times ahmaud was seen taking screens off windows and trying to make entry, another trying to get into a door. both times he took off "jogging"
ahmaud was known as the jogger by locals because he would would stretch like a jogger, enter several convenince stores, steal and jogging away before he could be caught
1 time a witness cell phone video showed ahmaud getting confronted and attacking a truck stop employee for daring to speak of his theft, he was just "jogging" thru the store and didnt have time to pay
oct 25th early AM, ahmaud was seen on a video camera prowling and entering 220 satilla drive

      On March 14, 2013, security

      Technical College
reveals Mr. Arbery provided friend pair of wire
cutters to use as weapon as he, the friend, and others waited for
another group of men to appear. When the other group arrived, Mr.
Arbery and the others engaged in violent
      fight;
.' On December 3, 2013, Glynn County Police reports
      reveal Mr. Arbery
      unlawfully
concealed handgun into his waistband and tried to gain
admission into high school basketball game. Officers noticed the
      butt of the gun protruding
from his waistband and ordered for him
      to stop. Mr. Arbery
ran from police, which resulted in two officers
sustaining injuries: one because Mr. Arbery
      scratched his arm to get
away; the other because the officer fell and sustained injuries during

      reached into his

Travis had gone around to the front of the truck and shot Arbery as he made that turn. The struggle for the gun happened after that first shot!! It was clear that Travis murdered Arbery without provocation of any kind. Arbery fought for the gun in self defense after he had been shot the first time. Travis shot him two more times before Arbery stumbled and fell to the ground.

It doesn’t lessen Travis’ guilt at all. For some reason I don’t think Roddie is as guilty of murder as Travis and Greg abd it’s probably because one could argue that Roddie didn’t know they had guns or could not presume Travis would shoot Arbery? I just feel the State over charged Roddie for some reason and I don’t think the jury will find him guilty of 1st degree

It doesn't make sense too attack a man pointing a shotgun at you while his armed accomplice watches so that police won't arrest you, rather than run away?? They keep neglecting he had ran 2.5 miles to get to that area from home, then been chased for 4 nearly 5 minutes around the neighbourhood and then defence says why didn't he just run the other way and go home?? Fight and flight will be anyone's response to this situation whether they have had mental issues or not. All they want to be able to do is paint Ahmaud as a black crazy man who terrified two armed men when they politely ask him to come over and talk to them. It's ridiculous. They want the prior arrests brought in so they can say yes he never stole anything but he had a criminal record so he must have been going to steal something eventually and must have done the other crimes in the White neighbourhood.
They had no knowledge of him before that time and judge did not allow people who saw him jogging regularly at night in neighbourhoods around Satilla Shores as that was not relevant to the case.

But it's okay, keep ignoring facts of the trial. Make sure you keep listening to and following the feelings of the black community.
The same community that wanted to see Kyle Rittenhouse go to prison for life and still label him a racist and his case literally was self defense that involved all white men.
But CNN and MSNBC told them to hate Kyle and call him racist, so guess what? Lol
If CNN and MSNBC flipped the script right now and starting lying for conservatives and not liberals and started reporting the mcmichaels were innocent, 90% of the black community would find a reason to support them.

      @@d-con6825 Ignoring the facts:
      - The fact that the argument here is self defense.
If self defense is being argued here, it would hold if The McMichaels hadn’t incited the actions of Ahmad Aurbery. Chasing someone down for a crime you *suspect* someone might’ve committed is already illegal. Stack upon that the fact that they attempted to apprehend Aurbery- and you’ve essentially obliterated a self defense argument.
      - The US does not support vigilantly justice
Again, even if Aurbery had committed a crime, it is not on the McMichaels to apprehend, or even punish him for a crime. They managed to do both, and for a crime he didn’t commit.
      - Ahmad Aurbery did not commit a crime.
The crime that the defense is attempting to characterize is one in which Aurbery has stolen from a construction site. There has been no evidence of this crime occurring. Video of evidence submitted to the court shows no wrong-doing.
      - Aurbery’s previous mental health issues would not change the actions of the McMichael’s.
Let’s pretend Aurbery did indeed have mental health issues that inhibited his ability to properly respond to situations (I say pretend because as of now they have not been submitted to the court for evidence). The McMichael’s actions still would not be justified, as they were the inciters of violence. And in that case, even if Aurbery acted back violently, his actions are still justified.
      - Last fact: your inability to argue your stance or the actions of the McMichaels is evident in your sudden switch to personal attacks, and use of trivial, irrelevant opinions. Had you stuck your course, and argued the “facts” of the case maybe you’d stand a chance. But obviously, your feelings get in the way.
Also, the Judge in the Rottenhouse trial also denied evidence of comments he had made 15 days prior relating to the actions he took on the night in Kenosha. It is precedent, as the other comment has stated. But keep crying why don’t you.
