Hi, you're indeed doing a fantastic job in raising your chickens on pasture. However, I would like to know if the scooner covered with tarpaulin shield them enough during winter.
I found this extremely interesting. Good job. All respect to Uncle Alfred! I must say though, it looks like an expensive venture. When do you expect you will break even? Make a profit? How much is the initial investment?
The trailers we already had. Which made a big difference. Within the next five years we will have around 4,000 chickens on pasture here, both eggs and meat
This is just so cool! Loved watching this video. We were at Frobergs 2 weeks ago- I don’t recall seeing this! Will we be able to walk by these areas to see the chickens? 😃
Just saw your video, this looks awesome. I am planning on doing the same in Ganado Texas, are you concerned with the hot summer though? Please let me know
How many centimeters are the length, width and height of this trailer when it is framed like this? How many geese do you plan to keep as guards next to 1000 chickens?
Is there a name for that kind of trailer? Looks like an excellent starting point for a pasture layer mobile. Thanks. p.s. do you mind sharing the wingtip and length dimensions of your egg mobile please? Thank you!
Just ran across your video. Wow! That looks like a lot of work. I'm a Grandma with 11 chickens & that is enough for me!
Haha. 11 sounds like a happy family though.
Thanks for posting. I enjoyed watching your humane and healthy process--very encouraging!
Thank you for watching!
Wow, what a project. Great to see from start to finish. 100 chickens is a lot. I can't imagine 1000!

Doubtful. That's too much of a chance to introduce diseases from other farms!
