Absolutely, you've made a crucial point. The financial aspect of maintaining humane, free-range farming practices is significant, and it's something that often gets overlooked in the conversation about sustainable and ethical farming. Supporting local farms is indeed a vital step towards promoting animal welfare and ensuring that farmers can afford to provide these better conditions. It's a collective effort that can lead to a more humane and sustainable agricultural industry. Thank you for highlighting the importance of supporting local farms!
I love seeing this! I have a large backyard and garden with a pond and 5,000 sq ft of wildflowers (nearly 1 acre in total) and just put a coop and range back there with 6 hens. They have a great life, get to range around the garden and yard and drink from the pond and they are only used for eggs, I get 6 most days. A happy hen makes better food.
Me parece fantástico que las gallinas puedan moverse al aire libre y hagan lo que es propio como correr, escarbar, echarse al sol o simplemente pasearse comiendo lo que encuentran en el campo.
It’s funny how he knew he had to cut out the actual killing isn’t it? It’s almost like he knew showing us that part would make us dislike the process 🤔
