People are so happy to see farms that function like this but don’t think about how extremely expensive these conditions are to maintain. MOST of the time the difference in a humane and inhumane farm is financial stability. Support your local farms people

Absolutely, you've made a crucial point. The financial aspect of maintaining humane, free-range farming practices is significant, and it's something that often gets overlooked in the conversation about sustainable and ethical farming. Supporting local farms is indeed a vital step towards promoting animal welfare and ensuring that farmers can afford to provide these better conditions. It's a collective effort that can lead to a more humane and sustainable agricultural industry. Thank you for highlighting the importance of supporting local farms!

I love seeing this! I have a large backyard and garden with a pond and 5,000 sq ft of wildflowers (nearly 1 acre in total) and just put a coop and range back there with 6 hens. They have a great life, get to range around the garden and yard and drink from the pond and they are only used for eggs, I get 6 most days. A happy hen makes better food.

    • @YugiohMaster1987

@@davidbrewer7937Exactly! It is literally the breed-type of the chicken that determines maturity.

I wish you would research that there are different breeds of chicken and they all mature at different rates and why some over others are chosen for their need. Also gmo is not the big bad wolf and it’s only produced bad things rarely depending on the person using it. A non gmo chicken can also mean it was able to live its entire life without being treated for any illnesses, injuries, etc for example. The farming industry is suffering and without the support they HAVE to subject their work and care to less than favorable conditions. These happy chickens are expensive af yo care for to keep that way. Please stop

    Hello im watching from Philippines,
In Philippines we have native chicken, they leave in the wild or the mountains, the chicken meat is very tasty, they love to eat banana leaves and some fruits and water spinach and any kinds of edibles leafs in the wild and some people catch them to cross breed to other chicken because of their strong immune system and strong body and ability to survive in the wild and pest resistance

The scale of livestock farming is very large. Scale, professional and methodical.
