    My cornish cross chicks are one week old. This is our 2nd time raising cornish cross, they are the best tasting chickens ever

    These chicken breed is awesome to butcher to eat and decent to dress out too. So miss that i cant do that any more. My late husband and i used to raise and dress ar least a hundred of those meat birds. Thank you giys for sharing. Really enjoy your videos. Just found your channel about a month ago im hooked.

    been raising hundreds of chickens for years, never ever not once have used grit.... dont use it lol its just another thing for the companies to sell that does nothing helpful. love the videos nice farm

    Small place,,, to many chicken on little place ..food end watter containers filter from out its more easy,,,end for easy worck the barrel of watter its inaf on little truck with 1" pipe...to puth the watter...end on field allways must be a 1 dog watcher or mudle shepard dog to guard..end in safe mod dezinfections of grass 1 to 2 days before,,,no dises end colaps...

    We use the same hatchery and the same feed! NatureCrest for the layers also! Have you noticed your yolks not being as orange as a corn based feed?

      I feel like ours change throughout the year depending on how many bugs their eating. Not sure if that’s why

    I have never heard of Nature crest. It looked like crumbles? What do you feed your layers?

      We use a non gmo layer pellet. The feed is from tucker milling company

    Nice looking tractors and a great, healthy looking flock. I keep mine on lower protein too, to help slow their growth and let the bones catch up to the body weight. Haven't had any problems in years. Keep up the good work!

      We move them twice a day. Each time before we feed them In the morning and evening

    Do you know what type of grass you have growing?
    I need to reseed one level of my garden and want something that will be hardy and last even with water splashing and ducks and chickens going on from time to time

    Would feeding non gmo food make a difference if your feeding it to GM chicken breeds?

      Cornish are not genetically modified they are a result of selective breeding.

      @@KCFarms can your wife pull them? I’m curious how heavy they are. You said they’re 20’ long? Maybe 10 or 12’ wide?

      @SarahPerine they are 10x20 going down hill she can or we hook the handle on the cart and she can pull them. The trick is getting your wheels set at the right height so your not dragging the back 2x4

    How many mature chickens can be kept in a chicken coop of this size?

      @@Антонграммофон да ,занимаемся ,всю сознательную жизнь ,я по гороскопу рождена в год черной курицы ,и у меня очень хорошо ведется птица. ,любая ,и куры и бролеры и утки и индюки и гуси. Мясо покупаем очень редко. Все свое ,живем в Крыму.

    Воду можно подвесить и она будет более чистая .
    И если нет дождя то можно открыть с боку .

    Why do a lot of chickens have bald spots on them??

      They are Cornish cross and that is common in the summer. They put all the food energy into growing big quickly and sometimes don’t grow in feathers in the warm months

    My in-laws had the same chickens, the meat was of poor quality and not tasty at all. These poor chickens haven't been able to walk at all for the last few weeks.

      Cause they all started up near the house and the next batch didn’t come out of the brooder for another 3 weeks

    Those are chickens are not free they still live in a cage all the time

      They are moved twice daily off their poop and they are not easy target for hawks, dogs, raccoons, or other predators. We like to call them safe range.

      Yes there is something wrong with gmo foods. After colonoscopy and being diagnosed with diverticulitis the directions given to me by my physician was to exclude gmo foods. Also when a fly wont land on a gmo and it will not rot for a month then something is wrong.
