That song was taken from classical guitar piece, Etude VI by Leo Brouwer
@@Markstun Indeed it was. Randy was a keen student of classical guitar and was arguably the main rock player who carved the path for players like Yngwie and Vinnie Moore.
The demo track solo had the tone of Eddie and Vai mixed with the compositional style of Satch - impressed! :o)
It’s so old. We’ve heard these effects for years and yet companies insist on going for recreating the same products over and over again. People buy them too. It sounds fantastic. It is cool to have a simplified rig that sounds like boutique pedals squeezed into one. Very dapper review as always 😄

Sounds awesome! You never fail to make the gear you demo sound incredible, and it cannot be overstated how useful it is to hear gear like this in the context of a song.
On a totally unrelated note, I was on my way into work this morning and I said "Hey Siri, play Pete Thorn 2", and she replied with, "You got it! Here's Pete Thorn Aye Aye". I got a chuckle out of it, followed by getting to listen to one of my favorite albums to start my day! :-)

You're insanely good and creative man. That Envelop Follower sound, so funky yet you make it work and fit so well with the rest of the tune. That's an effect most would have likely shied away from. Not you man. Balls out into it. Cool demo and another great little jam.

Intro had me singing Diary of a Madman for some reason. Really dug the Univibe solo tone. It was unique...maybe the less-lumpy like you mentioned. Great melodic track showing off all the different tones. Would dig this pedal if didn't already have the Mobius.
Damn Pete... smoking riffage...that intro does it for me bud. Awesome.

Hi Pete, great video as usual...I was waiting to see what your video of this pedal could come out like, others have jumped in ahead of you so I hoped yours was soon, and it was! Wondering how awesome this and a Source Audio Collider Effects pedal would sound together? In the 1980s, people like Andy Summers would've needed a whole rack rig to do what those 2 pedals can do combined.
Have you made a compilation of all the songs you have made for you demos? I think there is enough good stuff for an an album I could hear all day while working.

Not sure I need a multi-modulation pedal right now, but this was a great demo and great demo tune (as usual). The second solo with phaser was quite Van Halen-ish, but infused with your unique style that I'm getting to know watching your channel.

It’s so hard to write guitar parts with different modulation effects that fit together. A real sound challenge. Very nice!
Good luck setting this pedal up for live use. Bought a MIDI device to use to help - I'm new to it. Asked Wampler for help. Was told "I need to man up" after doing HOURS of research online, and messing with both the Terraform and the other device, to no avail. Actually, the person who helped me, Terry, or Jerry, was rude from the second they answered the phone. Basically, the conversation ended with Terry or Jerry or whoever talking over me and not letting me speak until I had to hang up. I will NEVER buy another Wampler product.
Can you do a video in dry/wet rigs? I just don't understand it..the poweramps and refrigerator racks..

How do u think this compares in tone to the Boss MD-500? I currently have the MD-500 and even though I absolutely LOVE the functionality, not a fan of its tone to be honest. I’m looking for a good replacement, but don’t want to go down the route of each effect individually

Pete-- any insight on how the pedal sounds in a PRE/POST configuration where the 'POST' effects are run through the amp's effects loop? Some multi-mod pedals (Eventide ModFactor) offer line/instrument level adjustment for this purpose. Wondering if the Terraform will run into any issues related to different signal levels. Thx! I have a really noob question, no doubt. I'm new to all this, soo... I'm guessing that with a pedal like this, you can only use one effect at a time. Assuming this is correct, are there many (any) times when someone would want to run two or more of these effects at once, making this pedal problematic? Or would that just sound trash and weird and not be an issue? :) Thanks!
Good question really! This one is just one effect at a time and sure, you may want 2 (like flange and trem, or envelope and chorus, or.. but you’ll need 2 for that!

How does the quality of the effects compare to dedicated analog pedals?
Seem really good to me! The phase and flange are really “chewy” sounding, in particular, it’s tough for me to get a flange that I like -yet this was easy to dial in.
Why are you calling envelope “follower”? I’ve always heard it called envelope filter.
