Ya'll ain't ready for the "twist" going forward. On a side note, people have theorized that Lily Depp's character is based on Selena Gomez since the Weeknd dated her for a little bit. If true, basing a character on an ex and then playing someone who actively abuses her...Is interesting. It's made all the more questionable, with the "twist."

No Selena whom I’m a big fan of normally and I remember back in 2018 talking to a professional music critic who didn’t like her and considered Ariana who has a great voice no doubt but her songs and just overall artistry is mid, a far superior talent and telling him that she would ABSOLUTELY have #1 single and them telling me it would never happen and that even Britney only had 1 and if it was gonna happen she’d have one by then, threw a little hissyfit on social media attacking Abel for basing the character on her and she’s just clearly taking it way too personal because yes there’s a few similarities to their relationship and her in real life but they are mostly minor details and are not meant to be directed at her. Rob isn’t supposed to be Justin Bieber, but maybe she has a guilty conscience for cheating on The Weekend and using their relationship for career purposes. And that’s her own problem, no one elses
