    Please report SPAM you see - it's an ongoing issue! --- UPDATE: Since filming this video we have seen the 271QRX priced at £899 (on Amazon here: amzn.to/3SpHGkT). However this doesn't change our overall conclusion, as the Alienware model is currently under £700 (here: dell.to/3zUYKZL) and the Gigabyte version is £799 (here: amzn.to/3zQIatQ)

Now it does it's pixel refresh / oled care stuff whenever it has been on for 4 hours or more but less than 16 hours and i turn it off. This way i never see any popup to do this care stuff unless it's been turned on for 16 hours straight and that never happens.

    They may be more expensive in the UK, but at least you can buy one...I live in the US and they have been completely sold out! I managed to snag a refurbished one on Newegg the other day for $529 and I should get it on Monday...I'm not super hopeful that it will be in good condition though...Newegg has a bit of a bad reputation with refurbished items, but I can always return it if I need to...I was going to buy one of the other brands with this panel, but you can't disable DSC on any of the other models...I like to use Nvidia DSR in several of the games I play, which you can't use if DSC is turned on...MSI is the only one that put out a firmware update that lets you turn of DSC...Anyway, I enjoyed the video!

      It's a good question, a few people are showing prototypes but I've not seen anything consumer grade on the market yet. MiniLED is gaining traction however!

    HDR performance looks solid but can it really hit 1000 nits consistently??

    • @KitGuruTech
      @KitGuruTech  4 месяца назад

      1000 nits is achievable for the 1% and 2% APLs, so only small highlights - full screen brightness is much lower

    Is there much blooming on this panel at all? My friend has a cheaper OLED and I seem suspectible to blooming more than him as he doesnt see it

    • @KitGuruTech
      @KitGuruTech  4 месяца назад

      There's no blooming as OLEDs have per pixel dimming - you might be experiencing normal eye behaviour where we're tricked into thinking there is, it's quite interesting really

    What is MSI warranty like, is it with the store you bought it from?
