She broke out the full vocal toolbox on this one!!! So many nice, spicy vocal techniques on display. PMJ, just smooth as ever. Haley can just stand and deliver.
Don’t apologize for sharing your stories that relate to the music, I appreciate them. Isn’t she just something? She has a newer one, also with PMJ, a cover of Don’t Speak…she has the best time with it, and there’s a bit more highlighting the band members.. a few in particular. She’s also part of a duo singing with PMJ covering Mad World…very different spin on it.

That particular music video is the best PMJ music video of al time. As Haley Reinhart is by far the best vocalist to have ever performed with PMJ ever. In fact, that particular music video stayed on the Billboard Jazz Music Chart for 68 straight weeks.
Other must react to music videos featuring Haley Reinhart with PMJ are, "Seven Nation Army", "Don't Speak", "Oops, I Did it Again", "Habits", and "All About That Bass". As all of those will literally blow you and your subscriber base away.

Thank you for reacting to this one. The trifecta is Radiohead, Haley w/ PMJ, and Pau from The Warning. Scott Bradlee (on piano in most PMJ vids) is the genius behind PMJ, and it's hard to go wrong with any random pick. For more Haley, Seven Nation Army may be even better than Creep. I also recommend Morgan James with PMJ on Dream On, Take Me To Church, and Sweet Child of Mine. Also, she and Haley do a duet, with just Morgan's husband Doug on guitar, of Dear Prudence that is just magic.

This isn't a PostModern Jukebox song but you should check out Haley Reinhart, Slash of Gun's and Rose's, and Myles Kennedy of Alter Bridge performing "Wild Horses" by the Rolling Stones. This was a celebration of Mohammed Ali's 70th birthday.

Hailey was on American Idol. She finished third, I believe; but her vocal skills (even back then) were off the chain. She should have won IMO.

I've listened to a lot of VPJ over the years and although I appreciate this version, nothing, NOTHING, will ever compare to the angst of Radiohead.

Can't argue about the feeling evoked by Thom Yorke. There's a feeling of almost overwhelming hopelessness in his version, beyond emotions. Haley's version by contrast is passionate, full of emotion and feeling. Very different from Thom Yorke. Then, of course, added to that you have the superb musicianship of Haley's singing and of the band and the arrangement.
I prefer the PMJ Haley version. However, I've always preferred jazz. I never heard the original when it came out so I've no associations from the past with it. Songs you listened to when you were younger have a habit of staying with you as favourite versions. I had never even heard of the song until I came across the Haley/PMJ version, and only afterwards looked up the original. Initially I didn't like it at all but after a few listens I could appreciate the Radiohead version to some extent.
A lot of people think the Haley version is brilliant even if they still prefer Radiohead. We're lucky to have these choices of music to listen to, something for everybody.
Haley Reinhart is amazing with an extraordinary talent! I love Post Modern Jukebox too. This is the best version of Creep I’ve heard. I came across it a few years ago and I was stunned how good it was! Love your reaction! 👏👏❤️

This is one of my (non-PTX) all-time favorite vocal performances! I listen often.

PMJ are awesome, I do like Haley, however Morgan James is my favorite, she sings Dream On from Aerosmith and Maps from Maroon Five, when you get the chance check them out

I have heard (but not verified) that Haley was under the weather before this performance and wasn't sure she wanted to do it... PMJ talked her into it and - well, that's Haley! MAGICAL!!!

Not under the weather, but tired from a week long touring in Europe. Also on the same day she recorded All About That Bass, and did backup singing in Style.
She is amazing!
