You probably looked into her by now, but yes, she's had lots of training. First as a classically trained opera singer at Julliard , then on Broadway, and now mostly blues. Very versatile, has covered many types of songs, including the entire Beatles White Album. Also has albums of her own songs. Also never uses any type of auto tune, all her natural voice and skills.
First time reacting to you, Good reaction and you ain't lying about your ramblin, from 10:14 to 13:40 I was like WTF is he talking about, still good luck with your channel and will be checking more of your reactions out, you got a new subscriber.
Because I keep the editing of the videos to a minimum to keep my reactions as authentic as possible, there will always be a bit of rambling as I try to sort through my thoughts as they occur. I feel it would not be as honest if I only left in the parts that make me look good haha. so even if I ramble, at least the reaction is 100% me and not just what I want people to see

I'm not sure if you're aware of the basic premise for postmodern jukebox. It is the brainchild of The Pianist Scott Bradlee. T They take modern-day songs and rework the arrangement into styles of the past. There's a rotating roster of musicians and singers that are used depending on what the song calls for. I absolutely love this version and for me this is the only version of dream on that exists. Thank you so very much for the reaction
Cheers for the info! I do try to make it clear during my videos that even if I don't prefer their versions, that I absolutely respect their vision, and talent. They are all amazing musicians and singers and I certainly look forward to hearing more of their versions
I would love to attend a live show of theirs. Hopefully one day if I ever travel to the US as I can understand acts not travelling to Australia for financial reasons
@@oldmanmetaldude - PMJ has put on shows in Australia before, altho I don't see any for the Pacific region coming up. They currently have two casts on tour, one in the US, the other in Europe. They update their website frequently when new shows are added, subscribe to their mailing list if you're interested.
Great reaction. I’m an Aerosmith fan and Steve Tyler’s voice is unique . Her voice is great , but it’s probably a 6/10 for me , Voice Play do a way better cover ( my opinion only ) Best value Patreon down under
Love this song. I appreciate music of all types, but some songs are so iconic. The only vocal cover for this one I was amazed by was by Dan Vasc. He can do that metal scream but cleaner losing some of the raspiness of Steven Tyler. I will have to check out Voice Play.
Yay! To those who requested Postmodern Jukebox!
Postmodern juke box have some awesome singer and writer also band players
PMJs rendition of Black Hole Sun with Haley Reinhardt is really amazing.
I love this version. PMJ's version of Creep is superb, and All About that Bass (also with Haley Reinhardt) is also great.
I'm thinking the same 👍🔥🎶🎶

Did you know that you look a bit like Joe Cocker, an unbelievable old school rocker. I’m a poet and I didn’t know it and aren’t you glad?! 😂☺️🤓

👍 I'm in line with the other commenters🎶🎉😍
Very few even amazing singers can do that extremely loud and emotional vocal fry belt that Steven Tyler can do!!
Haley Reinhart singing Black Hole Sun gives you what you are wanting in the climax of a rock song reimagined in this way.
Tremble before her
I resent how it seems that men seem to keep interupting and talking, instead of listening to the song.
Commentary vids are ok but if you just repeat the original vid without breaks, that's an immediate copyright strike.
wtf dude . Not here for a diatribe on the music industry
