Douglas: All parties raise your 🤚🤚 in the parking lot.

The plaintiff straight up lied and got caught 😮
It’s getting repaired but they lent it to me so I could get to court today 😂
@@oscarmejia9235Can I borrow it when you're done? 😂
He never said it wasn't drivable he said its being worked on. Not a lie
Or the judge is wrong
He never said it’s at the body shop. He said it’s still being fixed. I don’t think he was lying.
That couple ran a clinic on how to behave like defendants. Be quiet, talk respectfully, don't interrupt and present your version succinctly. Old dude buried himself.
Bingo!
@@toobiasjI disagree. I think he laughed because 1 he is a liar and 2 he gives off "I'm smarter than everyone in the room". Usually ppl like that chuckle thinking that they are right when in reality he is the dumbest or most confused in the situation.
the deciding factor was not the behavior of the defendants , it was the statement that the defendants made about the plaintiff's car being present at the studio , after the lying plaintiff just told the judge his car was in the shop being worked on . he thought because he is a senior citizen he had a right to lie to a judge .
The plaintiff said that the work had not yet been completed -- sometimes work starts and then cannot be completed because additional parts are needed or it needs to be painted -- and the people need to use their car instead of leaving it there.
@@marleonetti7 The plaintiff said that the work had not yet been completed -- sometimes work starts and then cannot be completed because additional parts are needed or it needs to be pained -- and the people need to use their car instead of leaving it there.
I’m a senior citizen! Ok great. Answer my question 😂
Gotta love how they seem to think been elderly entitles then to whatever they want.
When he admits he drove his car that was being "worked on" to court. 😂
The plaintiff said that the work had not yet been completed -- sometimes work starts and then cannot be completed because additional parts are needed or it needs to be pained -- and the people need to use their car instead of leaving it there.
@@mikemontana3443 You missed the part where the judge asked @12:50 if the plaintiff got his car fixed, and he said yes. Then he proceeded to proclaim it cost him $1311.
@@al3220 I didn't miss that part at all. It was a poor question from that "judge". If he brought his car in to get fixed and they fixed part of his car, but they needed another part so he picked up his car until they got the part -- and then he was asked by this "judge" "did you get your car fixed" -- do you think she would let him explain all that? She would have cut him off immediately. Truthfully, he did get his car "fixed" but not all the fixing has been completed yet. And then the "judge" asked him "did it cost you $1311" -- he answered that that is the cost but he has not paid it yet because the work has not been completed. A completely honest answer.
@@mikemontana3443Are you serious? That question wasn't just valid but integral to the whole thing. The only thing that was poor was his answer because he lied about it being fixed. I don't know why you're trying to stick up for that guy but saying something is fixed and something is partially fixed is 2 different things. If the shoe was on the other foot and you sued a body shop for not finishing a job you paid for and their response was "we fixed it" , would you really say they fixed your car? You wouldn't say "no they didn't fix it" or "they only fixed part of it"?
@@mikemontana3443also she asked him what it cost him, not what the cost was. Those are 2 very different things and her question was very clear. If you have not given anything up services then it has cost you nothing and you haven't given anything up for services then saying "$1300" is an outright lie. That's what they estimate WILL cost but that's not what it DID cost you. Stop making up excuses for shitty people. They guy even lied about the defendants testimony. She didn't attest to pulling away from the curb, her testimony in fact said the exact opposite.
That was the craziest ending 🤣
Omg....
What part exactly? I thought maybe there was a fight or something in the hallway after the case. 😂
@@BREEZYM6015when dude said the car was in the shop/getting worked on. When he drove it to court and it was outside in the parking lot.
GET A DASHCAM! I had an accident where a lady straight up ran a stop sign and lied claiming I ran the stop sign. Insurance said that they couldn't determine who ran the stop sign. Bought a dash cam after that. Next accident a lady changed lanes into my car and then claimed that I changed lanes into her. I sent in the dashcam footage and my insurance called me back 30 minutes later and said my deductible was waived, they will pay for all repairs and to not worry about the claim. Suffice to say the other lady's insurance accepted 100% fault.
I was thinking of doing that too. it’s really helpful when you do have one
Shame we have to sacrifice our privacy for security.
THIS!! Weeks ago I installed a dash cam and rear cam in my car! Tired of people lying!
$90 will save you thousands!!!!!!!!
Even with dashcam footage the insurance company of the man who sideswiped my husband STILL denied blame. It was unbelievable. Our insurance took them to arbitration, and their insurance did the same to us. It was the most ridiculous thing I’ve had to deal with & in the end neither side ever got paid. Idk how they can dispute video evidence but they did. L &😮
Insurance companies do it everyday, I work in dental and insurances will deny a claim despite having X-rays, photos, probing depths, and a written narrative from the dentist & hygienist! It’s insane. All they have to say is they don’t see it…it’s like ok the. OPEN YOUR EYES! so stupid 😤
The defendant's husband saves the day. He's both Columbo and Matlock.
"One more thing..." 😂
Oh just one more thing...😂😂😂
I think she did a pretty good job without her husband.
Don’t forget Sherlock Holmes
That's like batting 1000 😀
That one lie at the end undermined the plaintiff's entire testimonial credibility.
Wrong, Plaintiff lied and got caught in court. Did it to himself. LMAO!
@annetedder8202 Totally! Was it worth it, I wonder? To embarrass himself and his family on national television to try and win less than $2000?
He never said it wasn't drivable.
You've never had to get body work done.
Car is being worked on, but drove it to the studio. Too funny. This dude wasn't going to fix it and just wanted to pocket a lot of money.
The plaintiff said that the work had not yet been completed -- sometimes work starts and then cannot be completed because additional parts are needed or it needs to be pained -- and the people need to use their car instead of leaving it there.
An hour later and I’m still laughing 😂. Plaintiff testimony sounded rocky from the beginning. First he said it was fixed , then he said it is being fixed and he said it is outside the courthouse 😂
The plaintiff said that the work had not yet been completed -- sometimes work starts and then cannot be completed because additional parts are needed or it needs to be pained -- and the people need to use their car instead of leaving it there.
“Did you get it fixed?”
“Yes”
“Where’s the receipt proving the amount you 100% already paid?”
“I haven’t paid, the car’s not done. I pay when it’s done.”
“Is your car outside right now? Did you drive it here?”
“Yes.”
“Sooo, you haven’t paid yet because the car is being fixed and you’ll pay when it’s done, but also the mechanic let you take the unfinished, unpaid for vehicle off their property so you could drive it around on the good faith that you’ll bring it back to finish the work and pay for it?”
“…Yes and also yes.”

I think the older gentleman is very confused about a lot of things from his behavior in court. I don't think he should be driving.
Yes confused at why his entitled behaviour isn't being tolerated
The plaintiff lied like 4 times and wondered why he lost like hello..

He lied and said his car was still being fixed, yet, he drove it to the People’s Court parking lot. 😂😂😂
I don't think the plaintiff really understands what happened or what is going on. He genuinely seems confused. I hope his family keeps a better eye on him!
He’s confused because he wasn’t getting his way
You could see how the plaintiff operates, when he laughed at the judge. He’s a complete scammer and got caught 😂😂😂
I almost believed him until he lied about the car being in the shop, I think she was about to rule in his favor until he lied. Good things they noticed he drove there.
Nah, I think she would have either said there wasn’t enough evidence or she would have “split the baby” at an amount she thought was more reasonable than 3k. His own picture showed she wasn’t in the parking lane and first he claimed it was taken before they moved the cars when he already claimed she was 99% in the parking lane behind the car she’s clearly next to. But then he tried to say the pic was after they moved the cars once the judge realized the defendant’s story matched the photo. Lots of tiny details didn’t add up that the judge already noticed before he blatantly lied to her face.
He never said it wasn't drivable.
@@feliciagallo9832 True, but he sure was making it SEEM as if the car was still in the garage…
Add to that the fact that his own photo contradicted his own statements, plus the nonsensical and greedy addition of $1000 (when all the defendant had done, was give her version of how the accident happened) AND him over and over again not answering the questions the Judge asked… made him untrustworthy in general.
The plaintiff said that the work had not yet been completed -- sometimes work starts and then cannot be completed because additional parts are needed or it needs to be pained -- and the people need to use their car instead of leaving it there.

The "I'm a confused old man," play isn't panning out. Guy is full of it.

Madness!!! They should have called the insurance company.
What a nice couple! The Plaintiff was shady. He gave non-answers to the judge’s specific question was. Then the spontaneous inappropriate laugh he let out. Judge saw it all!
The joys of picking up family or friends from the airport. It is probably the same everywhere in the world, 2 lanes of traffic with a pick up lane each side, trying to look for the people you are picking up as well as pedestrians running across in front of you and cars pulling out from the kerb. It is great to see them, but it is probably the last place I want to drive to.
Harveys advice of taking pictures - Ive been watching this show for so long that I used to have a disposable camera in my glove box bc that was the advice he used to give!
Happy Friday God bless everybody❤❤
I'm 99% sure that she was double and had her flashers on. The man saw that she was "parked with flashers" so he cut in front of her (thinking she wasn't gonna move) at the same time that she started to drive and turned off her flashers, in which they collided. The total definition of an "accident" and they should both pay for their own vehicles.
I literally just said the same thing, then I saw your comment. Spot on!
Excellent explanation!!
You do know that it is illegal to double park, don't you? Even with your flashers on? How many people trying to drive around that dumb illegally parked broad have to stop to make sure that she doesn't just decide to start driving away?
Judge Milano is so fun! She's kind and banters with the best of em! Thank you!
He just wants money and lied under oath 😂
The plaintiff needs to listen to JM and answer her questions.
"I'm a senior citizen" 🤣🤣🤣
*did you get it fixed?*

Judge: show me proof that you paid
Him: its still being worked on
Me:😂😅
Don't bring your car to court if it's not "fixed ".
The plaintiff doesn't watch people court, you can't just lie and get away with it in her court.
That old man is nut case. He was trying to scam then he got caught in a lie! What body repair shop calls the client auto car crash victim to settle the case. He must owe that place or know who owes it. It was a reason he didn’t want them to use their insurance. He probably been red flag for scam.
The plaintiff is a bold face liar
That plaintiff didn’t speak without a lie coming out of his mouth….🤦🏾♀️
I believe the man believes he's right. But that lie at the end killed any tiny chance of a win.
The fool drove the car and said it’s getting fixed 😂😂
this case would have been done in 5 mins if either person had a dash cam.

He does interview them in person usually. You haven't seen episodes where he actually shakes their hand or puts his hand on their shoulder? This was covid time after things were starting to open up but with restrictions. That is why only the judge, Douglas, the litigants, and any actual witnesses were allowed in the courtroom. I’ve definitely had an incident where I’m pulling out into a roadway with two lanes and at last second a car in outer lane passes into the lane I’m trying to merge into and I’ve had to stop. Anticipation is hard.

Hey y’all hey! ❤❤❤ happy Friday!
I hate when people use a whole bunch of sentences to answer a yes or no question. Like it’s simple yes or no
That’s how you can tell a lie too like the truth you don’t have to do all that explaining
I wonder if the plaintiff has some early dementia or maybe he just gets confused under stress like a lot of people. I think he believed he was in the right. I don’t know if he lied or was confused.
Good for you guys.❤❤❤
My mom had to go through probate court due to a lawyers negligence. My father was going downhill with his health pretty fast and us kids discussed that my parents go have a will made up just to avoid probate. They thought it was a good idea, went to a lawyer telling him the purpose of wanting a will, he drew up the will, but when my father died, my mom had to go through probate to sell her property because the lawyer didn't check the titles. We found out that even though her name was on the loan and on the title, it didn't state that they were husband and wife. We could prove with other documents that she was his wife, but the state wouldn't except other proof! If you ask me, they just wanted her to go through probate.
Did he even try telling her "Calm down!"?!?!?
Apparently, you should always tell a woman younger than you to "Calm down!" after an accident.....
It's odd judge Millie never looked at the police report. Did the woman say she pulled away from the curb, or not?
I was leaning toward the plaintiff on this one, but at the end the plaintiff was looking suspicious after saying the car was still in the shop being repaired as the reason why he didn't have a paid invoice when it actually wasn't in the shop. He drove it to the People's Court. I think the judge was about to rule in his favor until that came out. Plaintiff looked deceitful at that point. Case closed
But even the defendant acknowledged that the report said she pulled out from the curb; she said she was upset because that wasn’t true.
I believe she mentioned she didn't give a statement, that's why she was upset about the report
A lot of times she looks at the documents before the case. She also knew they both found discrepancies in the report so there's really no point in using it.
A 50 dollar dash camera would be a good investment for yourself
They are a lovely couple and I’m glad that justice was served. The plaintiff should be ashamed of himself to be lying like that.
Yooooo … that man lied to the very end !
I don't trust this old people. They should not be driving.
How come cops never show up after an accident. Busy having donuts 🍩
That cnt didn't like when he laughed at her, but she had no qualms about laughing at him. WHAT A CNT
OMG this is the first time I've ever seen this judge be so ignorant and blind. What part doesn't she understand? The woman was double parked. He drove by. She pulled out as he was going by. Exact same thing happened to me. Only difference is driver who hit my back end got a ticket.
Yeah that's not how he explained it though
@@tashasharp815 Because she wasn't parked right next to the curb -- she was parked partly over the line. She told the cop that she was parked at the curb because she didn't want to get a ticket for being illegally parked. Either way -- he was moving, she was stopped and started moving, and caused a collision.
The plaintiff perjured in court...thats why he lost...😂
The plaintiff is in this situation because he's selective with what he wants to treat as fact and what he wants to treat as conjecture. He's an idiot and I'm glad he didn't get any money.
