Would love to see a low tech 975 Standard version. Something to compare to the MT 07 or the KZ 650. Something basic and fun with those standard ergonomics that they have finally figured out with these bikes. Basically a taller Nightster. I think that would sell like crazy.
Harley, you didn't have to go thru all those fire hoops and modify EVERYTHING. All l wanted was a 17" front wheel, the rest of the mods specific to the ST were unnecessary. Thanks for trying. 😊👍
@tvd1188 Well you should be pleased then. Don't get me wrong the bike is cool, but it's unnecessary as the original Pan Am can be modded to do the exact same thing. HD rumours have been about a smaller scrambler version and it's been years now. HD constantly drops the ball.
@ i can understand that. It would of been a no brainer to do that, but thats the Bronx right? Still, i like that it opens the barrier of entry on the PA. Most riders complement my pan am but tell me they would never consider it because its an "off road" bike. For which i've rarely done.
I like it. But the naming is DUMB. Cvo. St. Works for the cruisers. Not on this. Just offer the parts as add ons. Not “new” bikes. And bump that thing to a 1350 with some plug in gps. Winner.
The sport touring variant is cool. A 975 with 18/21” wheels, less tech, and up-spec suspension would also be cool.

Really wish they'd pushed through with making a 975 version
I suspect it would have been too heavy for its class...
This as a 975 would be a direct competitor to the Tiger 900 that I used to have.
Ew
We wanted a smaller 975 Pan Am…..
The new hooligan bike!!!!
BRAVO!!! Well done Harley!!
I wish you guys would have made a $10k version with a smaller engine.
Definitely need one of these for my fourth Harley.
why arent you guys streaming a show for these new models?
So good !

My son bought a Pan America last year, and that bike is a BLAST. What’s different with this bike other than the wheel size?
Smaller windshield. The seat is lower. No engine guards. Radiator caps on either end.

@@harleydavidson Absolutely love it! Now let me ask. Was the production of these actually moved out of the US this year?
Turn the nightster into a naked bike
Test rode the PA. Fast, but a bit top heavy for an Adv.
