    Program Sponsor Series: Fine Minerals International
    Venue: FMI House
    This is usually the first interview we shoot when we arrive in Tucson and it's the last of the Sponsor Series that we post. Why? Well heck, this is Fine Minerals International and visiting them at their house in Tucson is a show unto itself.
    Join us as Daniel Trinchillo gives us a tour of the house and the changes in the exhibits they've done for 2022. Then, we head to the VAULT where, per tradition, Daniel pulls out one KILLER specimen after another and leaves us simply dazed.
    It's a FULL 58 MINUTES of non-stop mineral wonderment as Daniel shows us What's Hot In Tucson!!!!

    Great video as always, nobody does mineral specimen videos as well as Bluecapproductions. Daniel, has always been one of my favorite guests. Just a couple of small suggestions;
    1- A problem the last few years with mineral videos, has been filming with the strong lighting from the new display cases. You guys have figured that out better than anyone. However because on this video you moved the camera very fast, going from specimen, to specimen, that combined with the display lights, made it hard for the camera, and our eyes to focus. I suggest that you slow the camera down, on future videos, to help keep things in focus. Also besides the focus issues, I never saw one of your videos filmed at such a fast pace. I don't think faster is better. Daniel, is also very interesting, when he talks about the specimens, but at that speed he was less in-depth. Next time, try to slow him down, hahaha.
    2- You experienced guys can look at a specimen, and often know what it is and where it is from. That is harder for many of your viewers to do. In the past you put the specimens info, type, local, etc ... in captions, on the screen, for a few seconds, for each different specimen, before chatting about it. That made it easy to follow. I suggest that you do that again, on future videos.
    3- We see many of the same types of specimens, on the videos. Fluorites, Tourmalines, Pakistan Aquamarines, etc ... They are very nice, but often I see you guys ignore some different, and interesting specimens. I often will see a specimen that interests me, "what is that beautiful green specimen?", but you guys pass by it, to show another Pakistan aquamarine, ... I would love to see more variety, and different things, not just what is trending, because we will see the same things, from dealer, to dealer.
    4- I love it when the interviewer has lots of knowledge, and insights, on specimens. The man who did your interviews on the shows, in the past was a legend. Too bad he retired, he was so interesting. The young girl on some of your videos, does a decent job, but she lacks the experience, and insights, of the older hosts.
    - Again your shows are clearly number #1. Just a few small critiques to help you keep your great shows on the top.

      Great input. Thank you for taking the time to share. We'll try to slow down the pace of how much we show but even we get caught up in, "What's next?!?!?!?" As for the titles, we still do that HOWEVER the first part of Daniel's interviews (when we're looking at the minerals in the cases) have never had titles just because we buzz through them so quickly. As for the narrators, yes, Wilber was a legend but, as you say, Lauren is doing VERY well and we're thrilled to have her as part of our team!

      Good post, but I have to disagree with your comment on the young lady completely!!!
      Lauren is FAR more knowledgeable than most of the actual dealers showing their goods...she learned well and from the best, her dad!!!
      She is exactly what the mineral world needs...youthful excitement and extremely intelligent and personable!!!
      She's a winner!!!
      I'd put her up against the best of them 😎
