  • Fine Minerals International from Edison, New Jersey is SO top-end that they get their very own segment every year. And Daniel Trinchillo never disappoints. Watch as seasoned collector David Wilber is astounded over and over again. This is as good as it gets!!
    This is the complete, unedited interview. Thank you Daniel Trinchillo for co-sponsoring What's Hot In Tucson: 2017!

    I somehow stumbled on this channel. I know nothing about geology or mineralogy but these videos are blowing my mind. Beautiful stuff.

    Natures art, beautiful I almost can't believe they came out of the ground, it is truly amazing this guy shows the best of the best! Really impressed with his collection. Are they gemologist? I wonder if the crystal, minerals still grow if they are removed from their matrix or do they still grow when detached?

    23:47 I'm pretty sure is a calcite, not a fluorite. Best clip I've seen from WHIT so far! I enjoy the 28 minute format.

    Whats the difference between modified and unmodified fluorite?

    • @dominicrobertson7626
      @dominicrobertson7626 6 лет назад +1

      Fluorite forms crystals of a certain shape(s) and modified fluorite is when shapes "combine" to form a mixture of the two forms

    I love how they edited out that old man's boring speech about how he had the best morgonite ever back in his day I tell you hwat
    lmao I love him but he needs to learn how to not be the rock expert in the room when he's interviewing a rock expert
