I met him at a casino in Las Vegas in 2016. It was awesome.
The "yellow guitar" is a 70s Les Paul Custom, original white, but aged to that beautiful yellow hue.
Metal doesn't mean you have to play a pointy guitar. Just ask Mitch Harris from Napalm Death. Hell, Bill even played some Carcass shows with a 50s Les Paul Junior tuned down to B standard.
It's more than just about looks, kiddies, and I salute those who care more about music than wearing some stupid metal uniform.
I agree. If bands like Maiden, Slipknot, Venom and Obituary can play using Strats, Teles and other 'non pointy' guitars, then Bill can play whatever the fuck he like!
